WOW Keesh - I too knew you had won, and heard that you had truly deserved the award, but it is so great to find out the whole story about your fundraising efforts, and to read of Louise and her journey. Congratulations on being published, and I hope that this enhances your fundraising hugely by having such great coverage. Well done on being a “doer”!

WOW—you certainly deserve an award; the award comes from your heart, for doing such a great act of kindness. Oh, too often, folks don’t know what to do, when a friend’s diagnosed w/cancer, so they choose to say, or do nothing. This can be devastating, to the survivor. HATS OF TO YOU!!!

I happened across this website tonight never thinking that I would read such a wonderful story. Thank you for your goodness and for reaching out to someone who not only needed medical help, but also needed the love and support of great girlfriends who understand. Louise is indeed a hero, and I am praying for her now and in her future. And you, Makeesha are one of God’s angels right here on earth. I stand in honor of your love and support for someone who was hurting and I know that so many others must surely call you “friend”.
