Hey Peeps,
How ya doing today? I am doing well and I am super excited to announce this month’s Guest Designer for the Inkspirations Challenges….. So whilst we will have our weekly guest star, we will also have a monthly Guest Designer too, so be sure to play along, you never know ……you may be next!
Now this guest this month is someone very special and someone who holds a very special place in my heart…… it is my best friend Lee Pelosi! We met way back when i was 17 and Lee 18, both working as Salad Bar Stars at Sizzler……! What is funny too is that when we first met, she thought I was a total ditz and I thought she was a snob! Amazing that when we got to know each other, we really loved spending time together. It it all started when I borrowed her Id to go nightclubbing (I was still underage), and she came to visit me when i was living in a funeral parlour….(oh yes i did and that is a whole different story!!!!) anyway she was in her gothic stage and had to check this place out, so came to visit me and stayed till the wee hours of the morning. Since then we have been inseperable, apart from the 3 years she spent in Canada, and now me moving to the other side of the country! Miss this gal!!!
Funnily enough Lee was at my very first Stampin’Up introduction when I had a workshop at my home by Ngaire Anderson, back in 2002! Who would have ever thought that this is where we would be today on our creative journeys. Talented as much as she is gorgeous, I know Lee will do a wonderful job this month, and I hope you all enjoy her creative talent too!
Here is her photo and Bio:

“Howdy folks, and a big thankyou to Makeesha for inviting me onto her blog and into your living room! I am a SAHM and am married to an awesome Canadian guy. I have lived in lovely Canada, but we currently reside in my beautiful hometown of Perth, Western Australia. Let’s see… I began my creative journey at the age of 5, using my Crayola paints and a carved out halved potato, to stamp on butchers’ paper! I thought stamping was a pretty neat-o trick way back then and I’m still loving it! In between times, I’ve enjoyed various crafts, including knitting. I was introduced to stamping and Stampin’ Up! simultaneously, at a workshop hosted by my dearest friend and fellow craft junkie Makeesha, and demonstrated by the lovely Ngaire :) I bought a stamp set of bunches of grapes and vines (I know!) and a box of Stampin’ Spots, and I was hooked! Makeesha signed up as an SU demo as soon as the company expanded to Australia, and it was very handy having my own personal craft supplier! It took me oh, another 18 months to realise I needed to sign up, to fund my growing addiction :) So I have been demonstrating for over 2 years now, and I’m loving the journey I’m on.
I also love to scrapbook, but find with 3 very young children, a whole layout is more time consuming than whipping up a card or two! I would have to say my style of stamping usually includes different techniques. I’m not so much a stamp & stick kinda gal, not that there’s anything wrong with that!! I really like crayon resist, emboss resist, emerging colour, brayering, paper piecing, and the colour YELLOW! My stamping space is currently our large 8 seater dining room table, and we eat (all 5 of us!) around a little 2-seater coffee table! Priorities people! hehe.
I hope you’ll enjoy my humble stamping efforts over the next month, and I hope they’ll bring you a smile and some inspiration!
Love,
Lee aka Lulla xxx”
