Scrap it Saturday # 8

Hey again,

Here is the page I put together with the photo from Tuesday of Tiarne and my cousin Caitlin

I have used fun girly colours, and my fave stamp set Priceless. Together here we have Rose red, Soft sky, Elegant eggplant, Pretty in pink for the coloured cardstock. I rolled the background with the So swirly jumbo roller and touched up the flowers with my white gel pen. Then I have scalloped edged the bottom strip of the Soft sky cardstock and added a strip of the wide Rose red double stitched ribbon. Along the top I have added a row of Pretty in pink brads.

I have then mounted the photo with Elegant Eggplant cardstock, and added a round tab punch on the side with rose red cardstock and stapled it down. I then stamped up the little flowers from the Priceless stamp set and placed a pink brad in the centre.

So there it is, sweet but very simple.

Scrap it Saturday # 5

Okay so I know it isn’t Saturday, but hey, at least you get to see the final product in the end!

Here is the page I whipped up for that special Valentine’s Day photo of Rod and myself

Here I have started with a base of Pomegranite cardstock. I have taken 4, one inch strips of Berry Bliss DSP abd weaved them around the photo. I have then used A Happy Heart stamp set to stamp up the two hearts. And I have stamped the date which is from the same stamp set and punched it out with my oval punches, finishing it off with two pretty in pink brads.

Thanks for looking!

Scrapbook Saturday # 4

Hi ya,

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentines Day yesterday! I certainly did :)

Rod and I don’t usually get into Valentines, we never have really, but this year, Rod told me to keep the date free as he had something planned! I had no idea what it was, so that was a wonderful suprise! We had a fabulous night out together, but I will tell you all about it in another post because I have piccies!

Now I am sorry I didn’t get this page uploaded yesterday! I created it nice and early and then kept on stamping. By the time I looked at the clock, it was time to get in the shower and get dolled up for our night out! So much for watching the clock! sorry about that!

Anyway I am sure you can just pretend that it is very late Saturday or something ……right?

Here is my page for this week:

Something a little different this week. I have used kraft, taken with teal, basic black and real red for my cardstock colour theme. I have also stamped the swirl / scroll from the Scribble this stamp set with Stazon ink. And I have used some acetate as well, to add a different feel to the page. Lastly I used some Stampin’Up rub-ons for the greeting at the bottom.

So there you have this weeks. I have soooooo many things I need to share with you! My new Packages will be released tommorrow, a sneek peek at my Ustamp projects, a recruiting incentive, lots of Blog awards, and the list goes on…….So that means there is lots too look forward to! For the rest though, I am off to enjoy the day with my family!

Hope you are having a great weekend

Scrap it Saturday # 3

 Hi Ya!

Well I have had fun today getting my projects and tutorials done for UStamp. I am really happy with what I have put together, and I hope they all do too! Now remember if you want to see the creations you have to be a member of UStamp! There are two ways you can get in……….go over and pay the entry fee, OR place a $200 order with me by the 10th of Feb and you can get in for free!……sound good?

Okay so I showed you a photo of Pauline on Tuesday, who is our group Fitness Personal Trainer, and a gorgeous gal as well. I love that she doesn’t let us slack off, no siree, she encourages us, but won’t let us take the easy way either, which is great!

SO here is the page I put together for you all:

I have chosen the colour Certainly celery, Bashful blue, and Night of navy with some Whisper white as well. I stamped the Celery base with Little pieces stamp set from Stampin’Up. I added a strip of Night of navy cardstock that I have paper pierced, and a strip of bashful blue DS paper which I have added 3 celery brads to either end.

The title…….well that was a little inspired by the Nike symbol on Pauline’s shirt, and it is so fitting for me! I used the Big deal alphabet stamp set with celery, navy and bashful blue ink pads, cutting them out and mounting the letters with dimensionals.

Lastly I added the wide bashful blue grosgrain double stitched ribbon, and a couple of arrows. I have written “Pauline… The Queen of Lunges” At first I was going to say the Queen of squats but realized that didn’t sound all too lovely for a lady! LOL!

So there you have this weeks Scrap it Saturday! I hope you are all having a great weekend!

Take care!

Scrap it Saturday # 2

Hey there!

It is turning out to be a busy weekend! All good though……. :) Last minute prep for school on Monday, and today we had a Family Fun Day at the school to celebrate the new year. All the kids had a blast. I was on the official face painting duties…..which whilst a little nerve racking, was really good fun. I can turn a gorgeous face into a mean pirate, or a tiger! And all the girls just love butterflies and love hearts too…….good fun!

Anyway in between that, and going out tonight, I managed to make this wee scrap page for you. I tried to work with the whole Australia day theme but it wasn’t happeneing for me, so ended up doing different colours, and just wrote up a journal about the day on the tag on the page which slides out from under the photo.

Oh and we have our special guest stamper again…….my 9 year old daughter Tiarne!  - she was so excited about all your lovely comments last week, she defintely wanted to play along again today :)

So here is the page I ended up with:

For this page I have worked with Basic black, Rose red, Whisper white, and Basic grey for the cardstock colours. I have used the So swirly jumbo roller for the background on the basic grey cardstock. I have also used the Priceless, Wonderful favourites, and Outline alphabet stamp sets, which are all from Stampin’Up. For embellishment, I have used dazzling diamonds glitter, and black gingham ribbon, and a mat pack and black brads.

Okay so here is Tiarne’s page………Just remember I haven’t helped her one bit, and I have to say I like the greeting she chose to put on there……( too sweet!)

Scrap page made by Tiarne……

Don’t you just love the 3 brads she has on the left hand side? It seems that they do pick up what you do! And it is great time together………stamping that is.

So today I finally managed to pick up the 4th book in the Twilight series………I have been stalking the guy at the book store! He sees me coming and just shakes his head……..NO! AHHHH it is has been almost torture waiting for it to come back into stock! They were out of print and no book store Australia wide had them! Aparently I was not the only one hunting it down! So Kristy you won’t need to send me your copy now, but it was so sweet of you to offer!!!

Right better head to bed before Hubby pulls the plug! Oh and if you don’t see me much this week…you know why….that book is over 800 pages long, and apprently the best in the series, so I will be sure to have my nose in it all week………good thing the kids are back at school hey? or they may get neglected! LOL!

Have a good rest of the weekend everyone!
