Hey there!
I hope you are all having a great weekend! I have, except I have now come down with Tonsillitis! I have had the sorest throat for 2 days, which isn’t fun, but bearable all the same. Anyway it is good to be taking it a bit easy today.
So I am pretty excited to have these Scrap it Saturday photos all scrapped for you, and my Photo journal album up to date! It is growing slowly, and whilst it is work, I just know I will love looking through it at the end of the year!
Okay so I have to scoot back a few weeks, and show you that photo from when we went to The Great Barrier Reef! I had totally forgotten about that one, and when I was going through a stack of photos and came it, and I was like DOH! I have forgotten this one!
Well here is the page scrapped :

I thought I would go with the whole Reef / Ocean / Fish theme. I have used Taken with teal cardstock for the base which I stamped with the little dots from the Itty Bitty backgrounds stamp set with Versamark. Next I cut all the long thin strips with my Creative Memories cutters, to appear like seaweed. (I am not too sure about it, but Rod thinks it is ingenious….. what a sweetheart!) I have just layered them up, and then mounted our photo onto black cardstock. Next I have Stamped up the fish and seahorse from the Ocean Commotion stamp set and blinged them up with some glitter, and then placed them in amongst the seaweed.
Next scrap page is from Elijah’s birthday last week :

Here is my little man……I love this colour combo, with the new Baja breeze! I have used Chocolate chip cardstock for the base, which I added a strip of the wide chocolate stitched ribbon to. I mounted my photo with Baja breeze cardstock and also added some photo corners. I have stamped up the cupcake from the Big bold birthday stamp set, which I mounted onto two cut out circles. Lastly I added the word Birthday which I have stamped up with the Outline alphabet stamp set, and cut out, layering it around the circle.
Then last of all the picture of my two Brothers-in-law, David and Ivan

These two guys love to surf, so I had to somehow work with the Surfs up stamp set. I have used a different colour combo, which kinda just came together, because I have limited DSP whilst I am awaiting delivery of my new big box of goodies from SU! I have used some DSP from the Good Morning Sunshine DSP pack onto Kraft cardstock, and a small strip of Riding hood red. I created a tag with my tag punch, and tied it off onto the chocolate ribbon. Then I used the Wonderful favourites stamp set to add the greeting, and last of all an arrow, with a red brad.
Oh it feels really good to be up to date with these, and hopefully I can stay on track!
Have a good night!
