Sketch for you to try….

Hey everyone!

Well I am thoroughly enjoying this Guest Designer gig, i have to tell ya. I can hardly believe that next week will be my last week as Guest Designer for the talented Jen DelMuro and the weekly Sketch for you to try!!!

This week was a fun sketch which I enjoyed putting together. I hope you can manage to have a go at the challenge this week too.

Here is the sketch:

Here is my sketch creation:

Yummy lollipop meets my fave colour combo……gorgeous right? Here I have used Chocolate cardstock for the base which i stamped with SU polkadot background stamp. I have used the Sweet Always dsp also from SU. I then layered up some Regal rose, Pumpkin pie, and whisper white cardstock (which I punched with my apron lace punch on both sides) and then lastly some Chocolate grosgrain ribbon. The greeting is from the really retro stamp set from SU. The stamped image is from Stampingbella which I have coloured with my Copic markers.

Be sure to check out Jen’s fabulous creation and, also go check out the fabulous Design Team and give them some comment love!

Sketch For You to try - 3

Hey all,

Well it is that time of week again, and I actually am able to do my post without any dramas this week which is a relief! So we have another fun sketch from Jen, and I had a blast popping this creation together.

Here is the sketch from the lovely, talented Jen:

Here is my wee creation this week:

For this card I have used red cardstock stamped with the Polka dot background stamp. I added some dsp from My mind’s eye, and some kraft cardstock.. The stamp is a brand newie, Turtletot from Stampingbella which I have coloured with my Copic markers. The greeting is from SU, and I have added the buttons, paper piercing, and faux stitching with my white gel pen. It is a simple yet sweet card.

I hope you can all join in on the fun this week and whip up a creation using Jen’s fabulous sketch! And if you need inspriration pop on over to the other fabulous SYFTT sistas. Here are their links:

Sketch For You To Try……

YAY! I am back with Maisie Mac, and phew that is certainly a relief! When you are consistently working with your computer, and have things scheduled to post and what not, not to mention keeping up with emails and friends etc…..you certainly start to feel out of your comfort zone! I am sure you can all relate to that feeling!

So I have been feeling absolutely TERRIBLE that this post wasn’t up on Saturday, talk about being a tardy Guest Designer, certainly not what you want to be doing, but when things are out of your hands, that is just something you have to swallow I suppose!

So anyway here is your creation for this weeks SFYTT from the fearless leader Jen, and also the links to the wonderful SFYTT sistas!

Here is the sketch to work with this week:

And here is my sketch inspired creation:

Please be sure to link up your creation over on Jen’s blog if you get to play along (which I hope you do!) as be sure to pop on by the SFYTT sistas and give them some comment love too!

I {heart} 2 Stamp - Guest Designer…..

Hey folks,

I hope you are all having a lovely Easter weekend with family and friends and getting some time for R & R! We have had a fabulous day today touring the Daintree Rainforest with our guests Monnie and Frank. It was pouring down with rain so heavy that there was a big landslide, and we had to drive through huge water crossings. Quite the Adventure for sure.

Now onto some very exciting news! I have been asked to be April’s Guest Designer for Jen del Muro and her website, I {heart} 2 Stamp!!!! I was most excited to be offered this opportunity by the talented and gorgeous Jen, and I hope that I will be able to inspire you all each week with Jen’s fabulous sketches!

First up for this week we have a fun sketch, and I hope you get to play along too!

Here is the sketch:
