I hope your week is panning out nicely and got off to a good start. Today all my kids went back to school…. I have to admit it was rather weird being in the house on my own for a little while, so quiet after them all being here for 2 full weeks, and playing day/night nurse!
So again some more of my questions have gone up for the All that Scraps Guest Designer gig today, and I thought I would share with you my second creation using one of the brand spanking new Sugar stamps from CC Designs.
Well it is the lovely Kirsty Brown’s turn to host the challenge this week! Be sure to pop on over to her BLOG HERE to see the newest sketch along with the twist she has added, and all the inspiration from the DT!
My creation was fun to make, and I enjoyed using some of the newest SU colours as well. I have to say I am getting so used to using my Copic markers now, that having to dig out my aquapainter was certainly a change! Good for me though.
So here is my wee little creation:
And here is our lovely guest designer for this week’s beautiful creation……Thank you SHARNEE TORRENTS!
Now don’t forget to be inspired by our design team!
Wonderful Chantelle and the lovely Sarah-Jane have both this week stepped down from the Design team…. They both have had a wonderful time on the DT, and we have absolutely have loved having both of them and seeing their amazing creations each week! Both have wanted to take a break and work on other things, and spend more time with family. I don’t blame them. Being commited to create each week can be tiring, but they have always been committed and done a fabulous job, we are sad to see them go, but wish them all the best, and hope they will play along with the challenges now and then
You would have seen my Design Team call yesterday…..yes we have several places to fill so please start sending your applications in peoples!
Greetings from Perth……It has been a very big week for me! I flew to Perth on Sunday night and haven’t stopped since! Elijah had his kidney surgery on Tuesday and all went well. He is rather tired and sore, but recovery as best as can be expected. I have been having a wonderful time catching up with family and friends as well, which is always special when you haven’t seen them for a while
Then tomorrow is the big Stamp-a-thon day for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. We have 100 ladies coming for a fun filled day of stamping, snacking and chatting…….should be a great day! I can’t wait.
So onto other business……this weeks challenge! This week we have a colour challenge for you all. I didn’t quite get to stamp before I left, but the fabulous Karen Thomas my dear friend has stepped in as Guest Designer this week and provided some wonderful inspiration for you all.

Well that turned out to be quite the week for me! I have just spent the past 3 days on Elijah’s School Camp. We were camping up at Cape Tribulation in the Daintree Rainforest. At first I was really sceptical about the whole event, I mean I had to drive 2.5 hours with 7 boys in my car, and they didn’t provide ear plugs!!! Not to mention Camping is not really in my resume either.
So how did it go? ….it was a blast! I actually really enjoyed it. We had a tight schedule with so many places to visit and things to do, it was exhausting, but very very enjoyable. I was all set to have this post up last night, but came home with a nasty headache so went off to bed early. Feeling much better now which is good.
Since we arrived home from our big trip to Canada etc… I feel like I have been chasing my tail constantly. First all the unpacking and what not, then being terribly sick for 10 days, followed by the Stamp-a-thon prepartaions, and now camp! It has been great but I do really look forward to the days where I can be on top of everything, and also have some stamping time too! I am sure you are looking forward to seeing some creative work too one of these days! Well I promise peeps, it will come, I just have the Stamp-a-thon, my birthday and wedding anniversary along with my trip to Perth to get through, and I promise the creative days will be back!
So onto much more interesting info, the newest challenge for you all! This week we have a colour challenge, and these colours are beautiful together! I hope you love them as much as I did…

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight” - Prov 3:5-6
“I have a wonderful, full life, with a fab-o hubby, 4 delightful children (yes I did have them young!) Tiarne 11, Elijah 10, Malakai 7 (aka Mali) and Janaya 5 (aka Jaye) and we are expecting number 5 at the end of May!. These special peoples keep me very busy with all sorts of activities, some fun, some not so fun! I am also a lover of books, movies, chocolate, music, and that art form called STAMPING~! You will often find me in my stamping nook, with a big mug of English Breakfast tea, iPod perched in my ears, singing away much to my husband’s dismay! What a joyful life I have been blessed with. I hope you enjoy my creations as much as I love sharing them with you!”
