Hey peeps!
Happy Friday! I love Fridays….and one of the reasons is that there is no school homework to be done! With 4 kids each week day afternoon becomes a classroom here, and whilst I love spending time with the kids, I think it is a little unfair they have to sit for over an hour doing homework after school, especially when it is a beautiful day outside! Anyway just sharing a little beef I have
Today i officially packed my bag for hospital….EEEK! It certainly is making it all seem a little real now. Let’s just hope that nothing happens this weekend as my hubby is away for 4 days! Not that it is likely as I have always been induced in the past and it has taken considerable effort to tease a baby byl out of my tummy, but still stranger things have happened before!
Along with the hospital bags, i also attempted the baby room….wow it sure was a very strange feeling to be putting wee lil singlets and socks into the drawers, and to get reacquainted with the cot, and trying to remember how the side goes up and down! Who would have thought, huh, that i would be doing this again 5.5 years after the last one! It sure will be a sharp learning curve again, and a BIG adjustment to sleepless nights again. Ah well I sure have plenty of helpers this time around!
Anyway I suppose i should actually get onto the business of why you are here hey! This weeks challenge is a Colour combo, and it is rather sweet together. I went with the Baby theme, probably because that is all that seems to be on my mind these days!
Here are your colours to work with:

Here is my creation….

Here i have used all SU cardstock, Pretty in pink, Bashful blue, Certainly celery, and Whisper white. The stamp set, and greeting is from the Papertrey Ink Scattered Showers stamp set. I used the polka dot embossing folder on the Celery cardstock base, and then added the Blue satin ribbon and buttons for embellishment.
Be sure to pop past the Inkspirations Challenges website to see all the other fabulous DT creations and to link up your own challenge creation!
Have a goodie!

Hello peeps,
Long time no chat! You are probably wondering where in the world i ended up huh? well….I really do have a reason! I have just been back to Perth for a super quick visit before this belly pops. Also my Grandfather isn’t doing too well health wise so it was important to see him, as well as my mum who is just back from studying in the UK, whom I also haven’t seen for almost a year. It was a fly by visit, but it was so lovely to see them both. Since coming home we have been super busy and it is also school holidays with 4 kids it sure keeps me busy in the day.
Anyway apart from all that….life has been good, busy but good.
So this weeks challenge over on the Challenge website is up and here at last is my sample for you all…..
The colours are:

Here is my colour inspired sample:

I love these colours together!
Here I have used the Sahara sand for my base cardstock which i stamped with the Dot basics II from Papertrey Ink. The image and greeting is from my ‘On my couch’ stamp set also from PTI. Super simple yet super cute
You can see all the other samples from the DT and link up your creation over on the Inkspirations Challenges website….
Anyway seeing as I am finally caught up on lots (apart from all the Business paperwork) which I hope to attack this afternoon, I am hoping to get some stamping time soon!
Hope you are all having a fabulous week!

Hey there peeps,
Happy Friday to you all! I am amazed at how fast this week has flown by! And April already too…Oh my! By now I feel like I am a stuck record….each week i say, ” I can’t believe it is Friday!!” Do any of you suffer from this as well?? I suppose the up side of that is that I only have 8 wks and two days of this belly left
(give or take of course!) I have been promising belly shots for weeks, but will definitely post some over the weekend for you to all gawk at… LOL! It certainly is getting rounder, but I am happy to say I can still touch my toes *wink*..
Okay so this week we have a brand new colour combo over on the Inkspirations Challenges website. Please DO NOT… i repeat…DO NOT get frightened off by this colour combo! It actually looks amazing together, and you can come up with so many fun creations with it, I promise!
Here are the colours…..

Here is what i came up with first thing this morning…..

Okay so for this creation I used More mustard cardstock for the base and layered with some Very vanilla cardstock and Cajun craze dsp which I stitched onto the base. The stamped images are from the Le Jardin Botanique stamp set from Stampin’Up…. love this tree! I added some spritzing, stitching, grosgrain ribbon and twill tape for embellishments. The greeting is from the same stamp set.
See not so hard! Be sure to pop on over to the Inkspirations Challenges Blog to see all the stamping inspiration the DT have come up with and to link your own creation!
Have a fabulous weekend peeps!

Hey there everyone,
I hope your week has gone well. I have been having a wonderful time catching up with my girlfriend Nellie! The weather has been really wet and miserable, but we haven’t let that dampen our spirits, besides, it doesn’t matter if it is raining whilst you are in the mall shopping ey?
Anyway this week we have a lovely colour combo for you all, that I hope you will like!

I haven’t had time to stamp at all this week, so I am for the time being going to share a card using these colours that i stamped a couple of weeks ago. As soon as I do get stamping time at my desk I will add a new colour creation for you all…..
