Yep is it my hubby’s birthday….or do you write Hubbie???? hmm that secretarial mind of mind is not working because I didn’t get a whole load of sleep last night…….

Anyway it is the man that I am married to, his birthday today. Luckily my new box of Mini catty goodies arrived yesterday……..because I was desperate to get my hands on a particular stamp set to make his card!!!

Here is a sneek peek of the box on new mini gear…….Oh you are going to love this mini catty for sure!

Not that you can really see…..which is the whole point, BUT there is new ribbons, glitter, papers, flowers, punches, and stamp sets to die for!!! I hope I have a quieter week next week so that I can play till my hearts content!

Anyway back to hubby……..He has had a good day, out for coffee with the work collegues, and I had a glass of red and a board full of yummy’s here ready for when he got home tonight. I also made his Fave dinner…….Beef Stroganoff! He loved it.

So here is the card I made for his birthday…….I had a ball colouring the image….which I think too about 1 hour!

This stamp is from a stamp set called “For Father” which is in the new upcoming mini catty. It is one of those stamp sets that don’t always inspire you till you have seen what it can look like.

I have used Ruby red for the base which I stamped with Stampin’Up’s Linen background stamp. I added a wide strip of Bayou cardstock followed by a narrow strip of Chocolate chip, and ruby red spotted DS paper.

I have paper pierced two rows along the bottom, and added the greeting which is from the One of a Kind stamp set (from current mini catty) with Whisper white ink.

For the image, I have stamped it with Stazon black ink pad, onto watercolour paper. I then watercoloured the image with my aquapainter and stamp pads, slowly slowly building the colour. I mounted the image onto chocolate chip cardstock

Lastly I added the antique brass brads in the top right hand corner for embellishment.

Hmmm I thought I would share a little photo of my man, but it is from a little while ago….haven’t taken one of him for a few months now……But here he is

 ah isn’t he a spunk!

Well better go and give the man some attention especially since it is his birthday!

 Well yesterday it was my youngest darlings 3rd birthday! I really can’t believe that Janaya is 3 already! It just goes by so fast…..i know I sound like most mum’s but really….where has that time gone? It is also strange because whenever any of my children have turned 3 before, I already have a 6-12 month old on my hip, but to just have one that is 3 is really different!

My parents came for dinner and bought her this cute music stand that has a keyboard, and a real microphone……! You can just imgine the noise can’t you! I have told them, that the granny flat they think they are building on our property is totally off, and that they will only be sent to the Nursing home as regenge of giving the noisiest toy, to our noisiest child…..all too much fun.

But I do have to say that these cute photos remind me of someone……..WHO YOU ASK?

 Hey again……..

We are about to head down south for the weekend, to spend time with hubby’s brother Anthony and family. The kids are bouncing off the walls with excitment because they get to see their cousins! They also have four kids, all the same ages, gender and order! So they really do get to have fun. Actually they have had their bags packed since Wednesday afternoon…….I kid you not!

So I realized the the Blog Candy was meant to be announced at 12pm today, but since we will be leaving soon, and I don’t have computer access whilst being away, I thought you wouldn’t mind it being announced a little early

So I used Random.org to pick the number for me and it came up with Number # 44……

I’m only a beginner cardmaker so I still haven’t used all the stampin up colours yet, but of the ones I have used, I would have to say Chocolate Chip is my favourite. So versatile. I love pink and brown together so I use it heaps.

As for the one I dislike the most, I would have to say Handsome Hunter after trying to use it in a challenge recenly. Didn’t like it at all.

Well at long last I have a new website design. I know it wasn’t all that long since I re-vamped it last, but there were things that weren’t functioning too well, and I’d like to think it is more user friendly.

Thanks goes to two very special people……..my trusty web guy Rob! You are amazing!!! I hope you enjoy all those Tim Tams i got ya! - but don’t let Richard see you eating them!

And the next to Janelle Ashmore, who is the very creative lady behind my graphics……she was amazing as well, and would even stay up till 1am getting it put together for me! I know, I know….it is VERY pink, but I LOVE pink, and well it is fun and fresh and with summer coming it just feels so right.

Now some of you may be wondering about my name change??!! It is a bit of a funny story really……. and goes like this.

I had heard the saying “Stamp your art out” a few years ago and thought that was really clever! So when I was thinking of a title for my previous banner, i used that, even though my web address stayed as makeeshabyl.com    it was only 2 days later that my dear friend and upline Ngaire called me to say that she has registered the exact same name for her  new web address because she was having one built by the fabulous Gabbbie at the time….SHEESH what an amazing co-incidence. Nagaire was fine with me keeping it (bless her) but i just felt bad about it, so hence the change!

Soon after I began thinking of a whole new change etc…….racking the brain, which is dangerous at time, I thought that since my team name registered with Stampin’Up! is “Inkspirations” , it would be a great alternative.

To celebrate the new design, I am offering some fun, and exciting Blog Candy!!! YAY!!! for Blog Candy!

I am sure you are all hanging for some inspiration…..well I am def. hanging to give you some! BUT… my wordpress account has gone AWOL! It will let me write text, but tells me I am FORBIDDEN to add photos. It has been doing this since yesterday…….just when I have things to show you * SIGH* It has even messed with my tutorials too………

Well the problems have been left with my trust Webman Rob to do his magic and get it all sorted.
