Hey peeps,

Happy new week to you! I actually have a few creations to share with you, but i am yet to photograph them, edit, and then blog them yet….I promise it will be soon though.

For now though I have that very gorgeous ‘creation’ of mine in the form of soft, and cuddly to share with you today. Photography sure is becoming a passion for many, and when i had my first child it was the good old point, shoot only one shot and hope for the best, not to mention it would cost over $25 just to get a roll of film published. I recall that dreaded wait for at least one day to see how those photos ‘turned out! Now with digital media it is instant AND You can edit them yourself. Well i don’t profess to being a good photographer…not yet anyway, so that is why we had some newborn photos taken of our newest little guy.

I had been eyeing of the amazing work of Bec Thomas Photography for over a year here in Cairns…oh la la does Bec create some magic behind the lens! Anyway i had Bec come when Josiah was exactly a week old and take some photos of him whilst he was still brand new. They turned out amazing and are will be a wonderful reminder of how small in gorgeous he was as a little baby. There were lots to choose from, so I have just picked 7 that I loved the most….

We feel so blessed to have this sweet little man in our life and Praise God that He has made all things well! Bec came back and took some photos with Josiah and his siblings, so as soon as I have those, i will share them with you too!

zoom, zoom, zoom….that is how this week has gone for me! I just haven’t been able to do all i usually would, but alas that is all part of the fun of having a newborn huh?

Seeing as I have to race off to my father-in-laws birthday, i will be quick…

Well that week sure whizzed by fast again! I am still living in a perpetual Brain Fog with all the night time feeding, but little man is doing well. I have some new photos to share with you all, and will promise to do that over the weekend.

Hello my lovelies,

How has your week been? Are you surviving the cold down here in AUS, or relishing the Sunshine over on the other side of the continent? Thankfully being in the tropics we don’t get all that cold here, but there definitely has been a bit of a cold snap of late and I have been wearing a jacket! wow, that sure is different

Life here at home has been great this week. So nice to be back amongst the family and getting Josiah settled into life at home with all the kiddos etc… My mum came over from WA for 12 days and has been a wonderful help, sadly she left yesterday, so it is now up to lil ol me to keep the family running. I won’t deny adjusting to the night time feeding and lack of sleep is a challenge, not to mention the good ol hormones swinging from high to low is also an adjusment, but when i look at that gorgeous little man, my heart melts each time. You truly do forget how much of a miracle new life is, and how special having a newborn is…..I am trying to take it all in and enjoy each and every snuggle

Anyway back to the task at hand….this week’s challenge! We have a sketch for you this week, and I hope you enjoy it!

Well i was very lucky I was able to pre-make the upcoming months challenges before bubby was born, so it is great I can still play along with the weekly challenges with you all! I will be brief though as I have to get back to my cuddles with Josiah!

I went masculine for my creation, but the DT have also made some lovely femenine cards with this combo….
