Hey peeps,
Happy Friday to you all…..these weekends come around so fast don’t they? I can actually say this week has gone pretty quickly and that is saying something in your 39th week of pregnancy! Usually I am so over it by now, and a miserable wreck, but I can honestly say I am hanging in there okay! 2 DAYS!…yep only 2 days till the big Due day on Sunday. My dear friend Char celebrates her birthday that day so she is gunning for me to deliver then….we will have to see what baby Byl wants huh? Anyway i will be sure to let you all know when bubs arrives, and look forward to sharing the happy news with you all
Okay so here is this weeks challenge for you all. I was hoping to post earlier in the week with some other things I have been working on, but that nesting bug had me cleaning drawers and filling the freezer with baking….not to mention washing, drying and ironing everyday! LOL!
So this week we have a sketch challenge for you all….. it is a fun one, using different panels, so I hope you like it!
Here is the Sketch to work with:

Here is my Sketch inspired creation…

A happy lil teapot!

Hey there peeps,
How is your week going? Friday already huh? It has been a great week for me, even though I am tired from lugging this belly around with me! I have managed to keep myself reasonably busy to bide away the time till bub arrives.
This week we have a new colour challenge for you all….I am hoping you like these colours together….
Here is your colour palette….

so soft and pretty…..
Here is my colour challenge sample for you to get inspired….

Okay so for this creation I have used the Sahara sand cardstock for the base which I stamped with SU’s Well worn background stamp. The Blushing bride I also stamped with the Fancy Flourishes stamp set from PTI. The flower in the centre is the Delightful Dahlia stamp also from PTI which I stamped onto the Perfect plum cardstock and coloured up with some Copic markers to enhance the colour. I added the rhinstones, for bling and lastly the greeting is from the Many mixed messages stamp set from PTI…. sweet, yet simple!
Be sure to pop past the Inkspirations Challenges website to see all the other fabulous creations from the DT and get inspired for this weeks challenge!
Take care peeps, and I will be sure to let you know if and when something happens with bub’s arrival… (9 days to go… but who is counting right?…hehe)

Hey Peeps!
How was your week? Did it zoom past like always? I have to say, just when i think each day is going to drag between now and baby’s arrival, it sure has done the opposite and gone super fast.
It is a BIG week here in the stamping world of Australia, as it is the SU Convention on as I type. I was hoping to go this year, and whilst I tried to twist my Obstetricians arm that it would be FINE, she said NO WAY could I board a flight to Melbourne with only 2.5 weeks to go….ppfff! Ah well that is okay if this is not the year, maybe it is the next. It really isn’t the SU Convention I am keen on, but rather getting to meet up with all my Stamping buddies Australia wide, and some long time friends.
So if you are over on the Inkspirations Challenges website looking for the new challenge, it seems that Blogger is down today? Very strange indeed! I have decided to just go ahead with my post and hopefully it will be fixed some time soon….
Okay so this week we have a Sketch Challenge for you all to enjoy…..super easy and the possibilities are endless!
Here is the sketch….

Here is my sketch inspired sample…. and all SU too…fancy that!

I have had this set since last year, and shamefully this is the first time it is seeing some ink! Love how this stamp watercolours up…..Any ??, please just email me
Okay peeps, I wish you all a FABULOUS weekend!
Take care,

Hey peeps!
Happy Friday! I love Fridays….and one of the reasons is that there is no school homework to be done! With 4 kids each week day afternoon becomes a classroom here, and whilst I love spending time with the kids, I think it is a little unfair they have to sit for over an hour doing homework after school, especially when it is a beautiful day outside! Anyway just sharing a little beef I have
Today i officially packed my bag for hospital….EEEK! It certainly is making it all seem a little real now. Let’s just hope that nothing happens this weekend as my hubby is away for 4 days! Not that it is likely as I have always been induced in the past and it has taken considerable effort to tease a baby byl out of my tummy, but still stranger things have happened before!
Along with the hospital bags, i also attempted the baby room….wow it sure was a very strange feeling to be putting wee lil singlets and socks into the drawers, and to get reacquainted with the cot, and trying to remember how the side goes up and down! Who would have thought, huh, that i would be doing this again 5.5 years after the last one! It sure will be a sharp learning curve again, and a BIG adjustment to sleepless nights again. Ah well I sure have plenty of helpers this time around!
Anyway I suppose i should actually get onto the business of why you are here hey! This weeks challenge is a Colour combo, and it is rather sweet together. I went with the Baby theme, probably because that is all that seems to be on my mind these days!
Here are your colours to work with:

Here is my creation….

Here i have used all SU cardstock, Pretty in pink, Bashful blue, Certainly celery, and Whisper white. The stamp set, and greeting is from the Papertrey Ink Scattered Showers stamp set. I used the polka dot embossing folder on the Celery cardstock base, and then added the Blue satin ribbon and buttons for embellishment.

Have a goodie!

Hey there peeps!
How are you all going? Life is good here in the Byl household…life just seems to zoom on by at lightning speed….less that 4 weeks until bubby arrives (give or take of course) I can hardly believe it! All is well so I have much to be thankful for. Thankfully I am hanging in there okay and am not completely over it just yet, but I am sure that will happen before I know it!
I have promised you bump photos for like forever… Rod took a few a while back but they definitely were not blog worthy! Thankfully my bestie captured a couple recently and here at last is one for you to see….

35 weeks cooked
Anyway I will be sure to share any news once it happens. Back to stamping and the reason for my blog in the first place…..
I created this card which was inspired by one I saw in my CARDS magazine recently. Very simple, yet different too…

If you have questions, please just pop me an email!
Have a great week for the rest!
