Here is my super quick creation….

This is the first card I have ever made with the gorgeous Sweet Innocence stamps from My Favorite Things…tooo cute! I have coloured it with my Copic markers. I hope to get some more stamping done this weekend, and maybe a challenge or two. I have been so busy with things for the business, and I am happy to say that I am finally caught up with that, so very much look forward to some stamping time!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and be sure to pop past the Inkspirations Challenges Website to see what all the DT have inspired us with, and to add your creation!

Hey peeps,
Me here…how are you all going? Another week zooming by for ya?
Today I have a very special creation to share, and one that is very close to my heart….

This is our baby!
Yes we are expecting a little bundle at the end of May. I have kept it all a bit hush, until I got used to the idea, but seeing as I am 25 weeks now, I thought I better let you all know! It is going to be a very BIG change for us seeing as our youngest is now over 5. Hubby and the kids are so excited about this new little person and i am sure it will be smothered with lots of love! I have had a rough time with being extremely unwell to start with, and ended up in hospital for a few days, just to get some fluids back in my system. So thankful for the medication I could receive to help me keep my food down. It is all a part of the adventure I suppose! So adding a pregnancy to what has already been a HUGE year, will help you understand why I haven’t stamped or blogged as much as normal! Hopefully that will not be how it is all year, but we will have to see!
So that is my very special creation to share with you all……I promise there will be something crafty later today for you all….

Hey Peeps,
I know, I know you are probably just hanging out to see something crafty that resembles something stamped, but I just haven’t quite got there yet. There has been sooooo much to catch up on after last weeks huge cyclone and what not. We pretty much lost about a week by the time we packed everything away, then unpacked it all, had no power for 4 days, and the business to keep running. I am happy to say that I am finally starting to feel a little more on top of things. It will really help with the kids all being at school this week. I am still amazed at how much I get done whilst they are at school!
Anyway I have been meaning to share these photos with you for a little while now, and finally got to re-size them to share. In December hubby’s cousin was here in Cairns. He and his wife Jo and their two boys are touring around Australia over 18 months so spent about a month here in Cairns. Jo is a professional photographer so what better idea than to have her do a wee photo shoot whilst she was here. The weather wasn’t the best, and we were trying to get away from the rain to save her camera etc… but in the end there were some great shots to be had. I tried to narrow them down as best as I could….. if you hate this kind of thing, (the proud mummy sharing moments) feel free to tune out!
Here is my little bunch that keep my life happy and full….

Janaya….

Elijah….

Tiarne…

All together….

and last of all a wee lil mug shot of me….
My favourite photo of all is this family one, which I did briefly show you at Christmas, as it donned our Christmas cards this year…but hey why not share it again, since it is all about the Family portraits huh?

Thanks for letting me share my family with you all. I promise next time will be stamping related….well let’s hope so!
Have a goodie!

Hello everyone,
Welcome to another week of challenges! I sure has been a huge week across the world with Cyclone Yasi hitting Australia and all the massive snow storms in the US and Canada! We are surely seeing the power of God at work hey. It is actually Wednesday when I type this up as we are anticipating that the coming cyclone will cut our power, phone, water etc…. so wanted to have this post all organised ahead of time… so I apologise if it isn’t relevant in some for or another…I will forward details as to the cyclone and how we survived asap!
Anyway onto the fun part…. the newest challenge! Last weeks was amazing and I was so stoked to see so many fabulous entries! You guys blow me away each week..
This week we have a colour challenge for you all. I loved this one as it works so well for masculine and feminine creations. I did a girly card, and am actually quite happy with how it turned out considering my nerves are running high today with this cyclone looming…LOL!
So here are your colours to work with:

Here is my creation for you all….

Be sure to pop past the Inkspirations Challenges website to see all the amazing inspirations from the DT!
Thanks for all your love, care, prayer and comments as we have faced the big cyclone Yasi, it really means so much to all of us!

Hey Peeps,
How ya doing?
Well just wanted to quickly pop in to let you know that we are all safe and sound…Praise God~!
The cyclone whilst really bad turned slightly south of us and so Cairns wasn’t damaged too badly. Sadly all the banana and sugar cane fields south of us we completely damaged. I am also very happy to report that there was no deaths! Now that was a real miracle considering it was such a powerful cyclone and had the potential to kill many. We we a little frightened whilst it all happened, as you never know what to expect, but the kids slept through the whole ordeal which was such a blessing!
Thank you so very much for all your words of encouragement, love, care and most importantly your prayers! We really felt the support we needed to get through such an ordeal. We have no power as one of our big trees fell and ripped down the power lines. The property was a mess with trees down everywhere and we couldn’t get out of our driveway at all. The clean up has been mostly done, but living with limited power and internet is difficult. Thanks to my dear SIL who is loaning me her mobile internet for a couple of hours I can report to you guys.
As for todays challenge it is all going to plan and I have done up a scheduled post the other day. My clock does go a little funny so I apologise if my post appears too early, or a bit later than expected et … but it should appear.
I have photos to share with you all and will do so as soon as we have a reliable internet source where it won’t take 30 mins upload each photo!
Thanks again for your concern and prayers we truly are thankful to have gotten through this event with God’s guidance!
Till next time….
