Hey there people,
Well I don’t want to shock the pants of you, but I might just do that! I have actually sat down and stamped and stamped I did…yup 10 cards in total! Even I am shocked! I really thought that I had lost the whole ability to stamp and many a time i contemplated giving all my gear away as it sadly collected dust in my stamp room. Well I really didn’t know where to start, and always sat at my desk in a daze, and was often thinking, ” how did i stamp before, as this is way too hard!”
A big thanks to all those challenge sites out there, for getting this stamper back in the saddle! I printed off quite a few over the weekend and slowly did the first…..yep very slowly, then as I went along that right side of my brain kicked in and whammo, I picked up a Copic marker, and felt like I had just come home again
Big smiles, and a BIG relief to know that I still have some creative ability left with the preganancy brain and all.
So what to show you first? Well I can’t just wham them all in front of you, I have to share them over several days, because when it comes to this blog it is either feast of famine! LOL! So anyway over the coming week I will share with you what I have made, and fingers crossed I keep this crafting ball in the air… I certainly hope so!
Okay peeps, I will start with sharing this weeks Colour “Q” challenge creation. At first I wasn’t too sure about these colours, but once I started putting them together, i LOVED them. I have a thing about not too many colours all at once, 3 is usually my limit, but these colours work fabulously together! They were, Baja, Not quite navy, Tangerine, Cherry cobbler, and white (5) colours in total! I have also used the Sketches for you to try sketch from Jen DelMuro for this creation.
Here is what I came up with….

I made this for a friends little boy who turns 6 this week. Happy Birthday Ethan! Love that wee lil robot which is a Stampingbella stamp. I have used all SU cardstock with some Cosmic Cricket DSP and coloured the robot with my Copic markers. The greeting is the ‘Say it with style’ stamp set from PTI that i have had for like forever and never inked up yet.
Okay next stamping goodness for you is a ‘Colour Throwdown’ creation. Again I wasn’t too sure about these colours, but a challenge isn’t a challenge until you work with it right? So here is what I came up with for the colours, light green, ballet blue, and dark green…….wat ya think?

Miss you! Oh I could send this card to a bevy of people right now! I have used SU Marina mist cardstock for the blue, and New leaf and Ripe avocado cardstocks from PTI. The stamp (isn’t it delicious?) is from PTI as well and is called In bloom which I coloured up with my Copic markers. The ribbon is also New leaf from PTI which I dressed up with a blue button. The greeting is from the Mega mixed messages set from PTI…
Then last but not least another creation, this time for the My Favorite Things Wednesday sketch challenge. Hubby loved this one the most out of the ten, so maybe that is saying something?? who knows…

Another missing you card….. I tell ya again, i could send this to quite a few people. I have been SOOOO very homesick of late. Certainly not a nice feeling, and it is taking all my will power each day not to just go and buy a ticket and board that plane and head for home. Having always been surrounded by my loved ones, it has been quite an adjustment picking up and moving to the other side of the country. Whilst it has been so great in so many ways it is often the people around you that make you who you are and I am MISSING MY PEOPLE! Anyway sorry to be all blah on you, but if any of you out there, have been through this and have any kind words of wisdom for me, please share!
Okay onto card deets. I have used some groovy new dsp I picked up in the US last year that hasn’t been loved yet. It is called ‘Claire’ by S.E.I. It has this beautiful copper foil through it. Anyway I have used the My Favorite Things, Pure innocence stamp and coloured it with my Copic markers. The greeting is from the same stamp set called ‘My balloon’. Love these gorgeous little girls and they are so easy to colour too.
So there you go…..I hope you enjoyed that stamping eye candy and I promise to be back tomorrow with some more for you all….
Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!
MWAH!
