Inkspirations Colour Challenge #40….

Published by Makeesha at 6:00 pm under Scrapbooking

Hey there,

Well as this post is published I should be up on the Tablelands at a stamp retreat……yes I can hardly believe I am going to have the opportunity to stamp after sooooooo long! I can hardly wait. Once again I designed a swap card that is far too intricate, and I am just about over the mass production! Ah well I am sure it will be worth it. The best bit about the retreat (other than all food is prepared for you, and there will be lots of stamping chatter, something I miss dearly!) is that I will stamp, AND i will have something to blog for you all next week…..now that will be a refreshing change huh?

Oh and I will be doing a workshop whilst there too. I have really missed teaching, so am very much looking forward to that again as well.

Okay so this weeks challenge is a gorgeous colour combo. I think you will like this one… I surely love it!

One of the mum’s at the kids school turned 40 yesterday, and I was asked if I could make a group card for everyone to sign. I always struggle with these BIG cards, but I was pleasantly surprised with how this one turned out especially considering that my Mojo is missing!

Here it is:

It looks better in real life, those flowers really pop.

Now you can be inspired by the amazing Design team! On that note, I need to let you all know that Teneale is leaving the DT…… yes I know very sad indeed. With her amazing new job, and SU business there is not a whole lot of time spare and sometimes we have to let go of commitments (I know all about that)! So whilst we are very sad to let Teneale go, we want to say a very BIG thank you for all her amazing inspiration over the past 6 months and wish her all the very best. I will let you all know next week how we will work out her replacement :)

Check out the DT super stars!

Want to play along? - here are some guidelines.

If you would like to play along, all you need to do is follow the directions:

1. Make your creation following the challenge ie, sketch, colour, or inspiration image.

2. Load your creation up onto your blog or a public viewing forum like Splitcoast Stampers, with a direct link back to the post on this website, so that others viewing the post will know where the challenge has come from, and it is courtesy to do so.

3. Then come back to this post so that you can add your name and link in the InLinkz below.

You have until the Thursday the 23rd September midnight to get your entries linked.

I will be announcing the winner and honourable mention on Friday the 24th September in the afternoon.

I hope you all have a blessed weekend!

MWAH!

Love Keesh

Makeesha your card is beautiful, I have added my entry, once again I see a red cross beside it, is there something wrong with the way I am posting it? Please help if anyone knows what I may be doing wrong.

Fabulous colours and card - thanks so much again, Keesh!

Thanks Keesh for a lovely challenge! I hope you enjoyed your retreat on the weekend.

Jenene - my entry has a red cross too, if I hover over it, it says ‘delete’ so I think everyone will have a red cross next to their own entry, in case they want to delete it… and we can’t see any crosses on the other entries so it’s all good!

Hey, Keesh, good to have you back stamping! I hope you had a good time at your retreat :)

Yes, those super-sized cards are a real head-scratcher… I dislike them so much that I’ve gotten into the habit of adding an accordeon fold inside the card or pull-out tags so that I can avoid supersizing the card base and still have enough room for everyone to sign.

    You did good with yours!
