Inkspirations Sketch Challenge # 18….
HEY GANG!
WHOA, what a week it has been!!! This post is like 24 hours late, thanks to me not setting the post date correctly, and not having internet access to fix it! My sincerest apologies. I haven’t quite got to view all the challenge entries for this past week either yet, so I will do that asap, and get the challenge winners up for you!
You know I hate being unorganized, and letting people down, but with this whole move to the other side of the country, and not having my computer, stamps or anything else at my fingertips makes doing this all so hard! Anyway I am sure you can handle Keesh not putting in 100% for a couple of weeks, because I know you are all gorgeous and caring people!
So just a quick update before I give you the next challenge. We are still doing okay over here in the very beautiful Cairns. It is really warm this week, and hotter than usual here, but it isn’t bothering us too much, until you have to start doing some hard work
This week we were finally able to obtain a rental property, after much searching, an applications etc…..the only thing is that it is not available until the15th of February! ARGH, I am going to have to wait another 10 days of so till I see those rubber stamps!!! So seeing as we can’t move in just yet, we needed to find new temporary accommodation until then, as where we were staying is booked out. Thankfully we found a new house, a little more out of town, but it is a beautiful Holiday home with the works, so the kids are enjoying that.
All things are falling into place it is just taking time, and I have to say that it is testing my patience. Since selling in the middle of December everything has been all out of whack! Being a routine person, I struggle with things being all over the place. It is a good lesson in learning how to chill out, that is for sure. But having said that, I look forward to being back into it all! I am sure you are looking forward to that too, and seeing some regular inspiration!!!
The kids are doing really well, and Janaya had her first day of kindergarten this week which was exciting. I will have to share photos really soon, as they are sooooo super cute. I can hardly believe that my youngest is now in school!!! I don’t think it has really hit me yet because Rod is still not working so I have always got someone around, but once he is gone and I am out on my own, it certainly will be different!!!
Okay so onto this weeks new challenge! You may have seen all the DT inspiration already, and I don’t doubt that it is amazing….Me I haven’t quite got a sample for you this week, as I still don’t have my stamps ( which is such a shame!) SO please be sure to see the DT gals for inspiration!
Okay so this week we have a Sketch challenge for you:
Be sure to go and check out the Design Team members creations and give them some comment love!
Anthonette Chavez - Guest Designer
Want to play along? - here are some guidelines.
If you would like to play along, all you need to do is follow the directions:
1. Make your creation following the challenge ie, sketch, colour, or inspiration image.
2. Load your creation up onto your blog or a public viewing forum like Splitcoast Stampers, with a direct link back to the post on this website, so that others viewing the post will know where the challenge has come from, and it is courtesy to do so.
3. Then come back to this post so that you can add your name and link in the Mr. Linky!
You have until the Thursday the 11th February midnight to get your entries linked.
I will be announcing the winner and honourable mention on Friday the 12th February in the afternoon.
Have fun with this one!

Hi Keesh,
I think its amazing that you’ve even managed to get the sketch out, let alone anything else. Take your time, chill out, know we’re all 100% behind you!
All the best with the unpacking & settling in. Glad the kids are coping well with it all too,
Cheers, Fi xox
Hey Keesh, Glad to hear you are all going well. I hope you can settle into your new rental home soon. I bet you are just itching to stamp and feel organised again. Take care and hope to chat to you soon. xx
Hi Keesh,
I’m glad to hear (or should I say read lol)that things are going great for you and your family!
Best wishes and the best of luck for when you finally get to move into your new home!
Take care and keep cool lol!
Hugs,
Kylie X
I am glad to hear you found a rental place Keesh! It’s terrible being out of your normal routine isn’t it (and being without your stamping supplies). And you don’t have to apologise for anything, I am surprised that you have had time to even post the challenges at all given everything you have going on at the moment! I know I wouldn’t have managed it!! So thankyou

I will be sure to make something with your fantastic sketch too, I figure if you can go to the trouble to post it when you’re so busy the least I can do is play along right
Oh and btw, I am finally signing up as a demo! Paperwork is going off on Monday and I am quite excited (but nervous at the same time!)
Take care.
xxxx
Hey Keeshie!
I’m wrapped you finally found a place! Things will be so much better for you when you have a place to really call home for a bit!!

Great effort in keeping the challenges going during this very challenging time. I had a chance to play along with the challenge this week. Good luck.
YAY on finding a rental! Blerk on having to wait still! *hugs* I am with the others in saying you’re amazing that you still are getting challenges and posts up! No one should expect you to be doing anything else except focussing on your family right now!! You’re absolutely precious for thinking of so many others all at once *HUGE HUGS* So exciting your little one is all grow’d up, lol! I am now officially a school mum for the first time myself…… looking forward to the routine it brings but looking forward to my little one accepting it :S That’s what coffee and chocolate is for me thinks
Thinking of you and your family *hugs* Mwah!
Ju xo
Waiting is so hard when all you want to do is get stuck into things! I hope the kids are all happy in their new schools and good luck with the transition to your new life!
Ooohh! Is it the house with the PINK craft room? Looking forward to a good chinwag & all the deets
Fabulous challenge as usual my dear, I’m looking foward to joining in,
Love Lulla x
hey Keesh you really don’t have to apologise for not having things ‘up to date’ or letting people down - you’ve got so much on your plate take the pressure off yourself and enjoy each day. You’re an amazing person who is obviously very organised so I can only imagine how this is unsettling but am praying things fall into place easily for you all. Take your time and enjoy the roller-coaster of life xx
So very glad (and relieved) that things are falling into place for you Keesh. Oncw the 15th rocks around u’ll be so super-dooper oranised u’ll put the rest of us to shame!!! The icing on the cake will be having some ink on ur fingers!!! Please take care of urself and know that if it was possible to be more than 100% behind u we wld be. Luv and friendship. ooxx
Not to worry, Keesh; everyone understands. Moving is my least favorite thing to do.
Hi Keesh. Thanks once again for a great sketch to play along with and the inspiration from the Design Team. I don’t know how you are surviving without your stamps … I’d need to go in therapy!!
Hi Keesh,
it is in no way possible for you to let people down, its absolutely amazing that you are still able to run the challenges with moving across the country and having to settle the kids in to new schools. Thanks for the great sketch and to the DT as well. Only 6 more sleeps till you could possibly get your fingers inky again.
Love Kim
Oh fabulous news on you getting a house to rent, that must be a huge weight off of your shoulders, have fun settling in and exploring your new home town - how exciting! Oh and a great challenge this week too! thanks.
I love the sketch and had a blast playing with it I cant wait to see next weeks:
Thanks again Keesh. I had fun with this one, even though I’m not all that happy with the result. I do love all the other entries - wish I had time to leave comments for all of them, but they are fantastic.
I missed the deadline! But as I made the effort (eventually!), I’ve uploaded it anyway - hope you like it - it was a great sketch!
Fun sketch! We used this sketch for our weSTAMP downline meeting this month. Thanks Makeesha!
