But what an adventure. Having been all over Australia myself (on the Greyhound - in my younger, backpacker days) I understand the difference in sounds, smells, animals etc. It's funny what you get used to at home and you don't even realize it. I hope the kids like their new school and make lots of new friends. As I sit here in Vancouver, getting ready for the Winter Olympics in 2 weeks, and all the excitment and chaos that it brings, my thoughts were drawn down south to your end of the world. It's foreign to us to think of school starting in February. Next week is the halfway mark of our school year up here. I hope you get that dream home, and more importantly that dream stampin' studio. We used to live in Charters Towers, and you forget just how green it is, and the sound of the bugs (until I smell gardenia, and that takes me back!) A little different to our current locale - Colorado - which is a vision of browny brown and a sprinkle of white right now. A little cooler too, I bet! Good luck with the house hunting.
