A little bit of colouring…..
Hey peeps!
I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend. They sure do fly by pretty fast! We had a great weekend, busy but good. I have to tell you that I am completely over having home opens though! It is such a tough emotional roller coaster trying to sell your property! Each time you prep that house, you are thinking to yourself, “this could be the one” and then you don’t hear anything…..
It certainly does test your patience for sure! Anyway we do know that God has it all in control, and we just have to trust that the right buyer will come at the right time!
Thank you everyone for your kind words of comfort about my friends brother passing away. I really appreciated all your love and care. It certainly is a sad time. I have been asked to do a reading at the funeral which isuite the honour, but it is going to be oh so difficult too. I will be praying all week for strength to do that!
I have two creations that I made last week that I didn’t get around to sharing with you. I have been having fun with my Copic markers again! I am soooooo loving having those, and colouring is very therapeutic for me. I know it is stressful for some people, but I really love it!
My photos aren’t the best because I couldnt edit them in Photoshop! Everytime I try to open the program is says, ” Photoshop could not open because the scratch discs are full” ???? Now does anyone know what that is about? If you do, please HELP! I hate stamping and then the photo not doing the creation justice!
So first off, I made a really bright creation. I am sooooo not a Bold brights type of gal, but I actually dont mind how this one turned out. I have used the Swiss pixie stamp from All that Scraps.
And here is a close up of my Pixie…..
Isn’t she cute? I have given her a spotty dress and checkered boots with my colourless blender…..
Next I created this cute cupcake stand, which was actually Taylor VanBruggen’s sketch challenge from the week before, that i just didn’t get finished in time, never mind. Here I have used my all time fave colour combo of the moment…..I sooooo love that Sweet Always DSP!!!
Here is the yummy cupcakes…..
So whilst they aren’t all that fabulous, it is just a little eye candy for you! I have a HUGE week this week, and I mean HUGE! We have Janaya’s, and Hubby’s birthdays 2 day apart, and with having a big extended family there is lots of celebrating to be done. A rich blessing really
So I hope I do get to stamp and share this week, but we will have to see!
Have a fabulous day / week everyone~!

Cute cards, Keesh!
Sorry to hear about your friend’s brother. Very sad.
Regarding your Photoshop problem, check your hard drive where you store the photos of your work. You’ve run out of space on a physical drive. Clean out stuff or get an external hard drive to extra space.
Loving these cards Keesh - I am one who finds colouring very therapeutic as well. Doesn’t turn out like your gorgeous creations though. I will be wishing you strength for your reading at the funeral. What a mixed week you are having with that and the lovely celebrations as well. Big hugs from Melbourne xx
Beautiful cards, love both of them.
Rach:)
HI Keesh,
great job on the cards, I understand how you feel about Bold Brights, but it looks great so cheerful! I hope you have luck with the house soon, it must be so stressful to clean up and do open house after open house. I’m really sorry to hear about your friends brother too - I’m sure you will do a wonderful job to honour his memory.
Take care,
Kim
I love your scrummy yummy cupcakes Keesh!
Hmmmm…any chocolate mudcake ones on
that cupcake stand?
Gorgeous cards Keesh - glad you found time for some therapy! I’m sure it will help with the busy time you have ahead! And I’m also sure you will handle the reading with your usual elegance and style - once you overcome the nerves!
All the best and lotsaluv
xXx
Sweet cards, Keesh - thinking of you all over this difficult time and hope the birthdays are good days for you, Cheers, Jo
Oh Keesh, both cards are so cute and your colouring is awesome. All the best for your busy and difficult week ahead. Cheers Helen
Keesh,
All the best for the week ahead, it will be a mix emotionally for you.
The cards are both gorgeous, and what a surprise seeing you use pink, pumpkin & choc chip (NOT!).
Thinking of you,
Fi xox
Hi Keesh,
I did try leaving a comment for you the other day but your blog would not let me!
Anyway - I love your sympathy card from your last post - always a hard one. Brian lost a cousin of his week before last so I sort of know what you are going through ATM.
Your cards in this post are gorgeous! Love the bold brights and your cup cakes … yummy!
Good luck with selling your property - oh, I so know what you are going through here … we are going through the same process. Emotionally draining and frustrating when you have plans for something but it won’t come together quick enough huh!
Hope your week is full of family and fun with the birthdays this week.
Hugz, Chelle xx

Your cards and colouring in is beautiful, I love my copics too, they beckon you to them don’t they? They are just soooo beautiful to work with. You have a huge week ahead but please know that there are lots of us that are keeping you in thoughts and prayers.
