Hey there peeps!

Published by Makeesha at 11:20 am under 3-D Items

 Hi ya everyone!

Heres hoping you are having a bonza week. We have started school holidays this week, and what a relief it is not to have to drive the school run, on the downside, it is so much harder to keep the house in tip-top shape! LOL! But we have had some relaxing days, and even had a picnic on the back lawn today, in which I then proceeded to fall asleep in the sunshine~ :)

I had the really bright idea the other day that it would be a really really good idea for me to do a Detox…… I don’t know where that bright idea sprung from, but right about now, Detox is a dirty word! I haven’t had one ounce of sugar, wheat, caffeine, chocolate, or any of those other nasties we all become addicted to for 2 days! Did I mention I haven’t had chocolate for 2 days??? What a rude shock to the system that is! But considering I am feeling oh so terrible, it means that there are obviously lots of nasty toxins making their way out of my system, so I just have to hang in there to get the good feeling back. My headache has been the headache and the head spins have been the worse……BUT I am determined to get through the 10 days!! Hey if I can survive 2 days without chocolate, I am sure I can survive longer, and it will get easier, I am sure (well lets hope so!)

I have tried oh about 6 times to sit down and stamp in the last week and come up with zilch! I am having the worst missing mojo at the moment, and oh i am starting to get really worried it isn’t going to come back!!! Believe me I have tried several creations and each of them have ended up in the bin! Certainly not something I am used to, and i am a bit panicked that it won’t come back either!!! I will have to sit and try something really simple first just to get my confidence back :)

But I still have something up my sleeve to show you all……

As you know i am the Design Team member for Australia on Ustamp. Ustamp is an on-line stamping class that runs every 2-3 months. The Design team all share a bunch of fabulous things they have made and you get all the tutorials for them! Anyway I haven’t shared with you some of my projects that I have made for some time, and thought you would be interested.

Okay so here is something I called the Triple treat basket…..

This basket has an insert in the inside that has three circles cut out so that is nice holds the candles into it firmly. You could do the same and put jars of lollies into the circles as well.

Then the other thing I made was a gift basket:

Then all you have to do is add your goodies to it….

Here I have loaded it with some Stampin’Up goodies, ready to give to a friend.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing something different, and I promise I will still keep attempting to make something creative to share!!!

Have a goodie….!

Love Keesh

    Hi Keesh
Great projects! Love them both! Don’t worry about your missing mojo! You have oodles of it!! and it just needs a little holiday… It will come back, until then have fun with your kids and relax! We can all wait patiently for more of your wonderful creations! How is your foot going, by the way?
    Take care

Hello Keesh - hang in there, things will get better. The mojo will return, it’s just on holiday. too - and like everything else, comes back when you least expect it. Please just enjoy the holidays, enjoy the kids, don’t worry about the house (a tidy house is very over rated, especially when you have kids). I’m sure all the positive vibes coming your way from your friends/blog readers will help - just relax. (actually, an old song from the 80’s comes to mind - Don’t worry, be happy), Love Jo

    Hiya Keesh!!
Doing the Daniels Detox?? If so, it does get better!! I had headaches for the first couple of days (ended up breaking the rules and popping a couple of panadol to cope with the kids - and I’ve only got 2!!) but after they went it got much better!!
Dont worry about your mojo - I am certain it will come back - you’re just too clever for it to not!! :)
Love your gift boxes - great ideas for Christmas coming up!!

oh Keesh these are darling little boxes. i admire you doing the detox thing, i have heard they are not easy and not nice!! just relax with your kids and enjoy the specialness (don’t think thats a word!!! lol lol) of having them home, you have oodles of mojo so dont stress about that, just like many others i am always inspired with your work, your work is constantly awesome. while you are detoxing sit back and relax, lie in the sun and enjoy each moment as it comes…well as best you can without chocolate that is!! … i really love that stuff too!!!! lol
    be kind to yourself,
life is full of many beautiful things and friendship is one of them..

I wish you all the best with the detox Keesh. Kiddo….if I can go 12 yrs without a Violet Crumble, Mud Cake and full strength fizzy drink (thanks to type 1 diabetes) I am sure u can slof out 10 days. Funny thing is that when (if) you try to go back to the ‘baddies’ after your detox…they don’t taste the same!!! On the crafting side…I love the candle box!! Way cute!!! Your talent is magical and I am sure the mojo will come back with avengence!! ooxx…PS hope the ankle is healing nicely!!

Hey, those baskets are absolutely adorable!!! There is something else grabbing my attention as well… The Razzbleberry Lemonade DSP and matching ribbon! Does that mean you guys got this year’s In Colour? How is that working out: are you getting them for half a year and you’ll be getting the 2010-2011 in Colours at the same time as we do? Or did a charitable soul send you some goodies?

This is all so intriguing! :D
    TFS!

    Hi Keesh,

Love, love love those projects! Really beautiful and original. Which detox are you doing? I’ve lost 12kg doing the Body Trim System but think I should detox too. Take care, Leanne.
