Inkspirations Inspiration Challenge # 12

Me again,

Oh it is great to have this new challenge all ready for you! I hate being behind schedule, and I am sure it drives you crazy as well!!!

On a really positive note though, my de-cluttering is all done! YUP, my house is now about half full of all its previous contents, and man oh man it feels really really good! Every drawer, has just about been emptied, and packed away. Our shed is loaded with sealed boxes now. So if you need to borrow anything, don’t come my way because I probably won’t have what you are looking for….LOL! Rod arranged a few of my dear friends to come over yesterday morning, and we got the house completely cleaned and spotless. Hopefully it will stay that way! I am so thankful to them for their help, as I really couldn’t have done it in my invalid state :) Now that, that is all done, I hope to get back into a more standard routine, and hopefully that includes a little more stamping time as well!

So this week, i think you are going to enjoy the new Inspiration image I have picked! It is so summery and fresh…….something we are all looking forward to for sure! SUMMER! It has been soooooo miserable and dreary around here the past few weeks, and since it has just by calendar turned into spring, we have been waiting for the sunshine…….but it hasn’t arrived yet!

Anyway here is the fun inspiration image for you this week…..have fun with this one!

Here is my inspired creation for you:

If you would like to play along, all you need to do is follow the directions:

1. Make your creation following the challenge ie, sketch, colour, or inspiration image.

2. Load your creation up onto your blog or a public viewing forum like Splitcoast Stampers, with a direct link back to the post on this website, so that others viewing the post will know where the challenge has come from, and it is courtesy to do so.

3. Then come back to this post so that you can add your name and link in the Mr. Linky!

You have until the Thursday the 17th September midnight to get your entries linked.

I’d started fiddling around with this challenge after seeing it on Sarah-jane’s blog. I’ve picked nearly the same layout as yours, but yours is so much better!!!! Oh well, will keep fiddling….

Wow Keesh - I think you are overcoming your aversion to yellow… last week So Saffron and now even Yoyo Yellow! LOL. This is one of my favourite cards of yours - LOVE the scored lines on the white and the layout is just fantastic!

That hubby of yours sounds like a pretty good guy!!! He does seem to be picking up the slack while you are indisposed!!! What a blessing! Hhhhmmmm … how did you know that I hated Pacific Point??? Oh dear …. perhaps I will just have to try this one … simply to get over it!!! Hugs, Andrea xxx

    Hi Keesh
Very summery colours, the picture looks like it’s from a beach house! We here in Canberra were blessed with a beautiful warm sunny day yesterday, so it really does feel like summer is on the way!
Love your card, Circle Circus was definitely a great choice, and I also loooove what you did with the scored lines. Very clever :)
The Design Team cards were all gorgeous too. Well done to you all!
Also I want to say thanks sooooo much…I was so surprised to see my card as the winner, actually, it was Fiona’s congrats on my blog that made me realise! I don’t know how you choose from so many entries, it must be a tough job, and you already have so much on your plate!!
So glad to hear that you’ve finished your clearing out. I think my house needs the same done to it, you have inspired me.
Oops, this has become quite a lengthy comment, sorry!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
    Love Shell

    Hey Keeshie,
This card is just gorgeous - I love the whole thing and must say the summer sun adds a real zing dinger to it all - now don’t tell me you’re softening up to the yellow tones (maybe you’re trying to coordinate it with the bruising on your foot!).
    Love and hugs,
    Ngaire

    Hi Keesh,

thanks for the great challenge - I loved the bright colours - it just felt right for spring. I really liked your medallion element and all the other DT cards were a great start for thinking about the challenge. Hope you get that stamping time.

    Hi Keesh

I’m so pleased I’ve found your challenges as you seem to pick such gorgeous colours. Not sure what happened but my first attempt at Mr Linky didn’t work. Look forward to the next challenge.

Hi Keesh! Just wanted to say thanks for another fantastic challenge!! I nearly put this one into the “too hard” basket, but I’m glad I gave it another go. It’s always great when you’re made to try things you wouldn’t normally do, and it’s a bonus when the card/layout turns out OK! Can’t wait to see the next challenge. Thanks again!

  26. Helenon 18 Sep 2009 at 6:16 am

Hey Keesh, I’ve been away for 3 nights so my half started card for your challenge is still half started. Missed the deadline but I’ll try and finish the card in next few days and add a link then. Can’t wait for your next challenge. H xx
