Inkspirations Inspiration Challenge #10….

Hey again!

Today Louise, Charmaine and i began the massive job of cutting the 800+ projects packs we will need for next weeks Stamp-a-thon! It was so great to get started, although a little overwhelming! We did manage to get a big dent into the task at hand, and hopefully the rest will go just as smoothly.

Now I am sure you are looking forward to the next challenge. I had great fun with this week Inspiration piece. I ended up with something completely different in mind, but had fun all the same!

Here is the Challenge Inspiration piece for you:

 

My inspired creation:

Here I have used Basic grey, Taken with teal, So saffron, and Basic black for the cardstock colours along with some Whisper white. I have used the Pocket Silhouettes stamp set and Basic phrases. I added some Basic grey taffeta ribbon, Corduroy brads (new) and the paper piercing for embellishment.

Now be sure to check out the Design Teams creations, because they will be nothing short of amazing!

Want to play along? - here are some guidelines.

    I love your card Keesh! I on the other hand did not fair so well! I was not happy with my end result. Mojo was out last night visiting creative and well balanced so unfortunately none of them were available to me…LOL! Have a great weekend!

    Hey Keesh, that card is awesome, i love the set, i love the colors, i just love it all………TFS and for the inspiration.

    Woooooowwww! I am so impressed with you, girl! You made this challenge look so effortless! (It wasn’t, BTW!) haha!

    Your card is gorgeous! I am loving those patterned papers! And the corduroy brads, of course!!

    On a side note, 800 card packs… Ouch! Thank gosh you had help!!

    Interesting that the most challenging inkspirations seem to always come up with the best cards from the DT team. I’m going to be time poor this week but I’d love to give this one a go. I love your card and as soon as I saw it I thought - OMG I hope I didn’t forget to put Pocket Silhouettes on my last order.

    I really like the colours in the challenge this week (although I might have taken just a smidgeon of artistic licence in the colours I used for my card!) and the strong pattern made me think of my basic backgrounds stamps which I don’t use nearly enough.
