Inkspirations Colour Challenge # 10…

 YEAH! It is that fun time of the week where we get to set the new challenge for the week! I love Fridays!

So this week we have a new Colour Challenge to play with. I really liked the colours, and they are a little different…no in-colours either, just good old SU originals :)

Here is your colours to play with:

I had fun playing with these, and here is my creation:

For this card, I have used the Mellow moss for the base, which I stamped with the Tres Chic background stamp with moss ink. I have then cut a rectangle of Rose red, and Always artichoke cardstock which I stamped the greeting onto. I have stamped the flower from the Echoes of Kindness stamp set from Stampin’Up and watercoloured it with my aquapainters, and stamp pads. I used the spritzer tool to add some splatters. Lastly I have added a bow of Very vanilla taffeta ribbon.

With the flower petals I have actually coloured two and paper toled the blossoms on top of each other. You can see it a little more clearly on this image:

    Look at those flowers! The coloring is incredible!

    I think what amazes me the most is how much you get accomplished in a week! All that blogging and stamping and the challenges and winning entries and traveling and taking care of a house and four kids… This is all very impressive!
