Scrap it Saturday # 16….
Hi everyone!
I hope you are all having a great Saturday! me, I am too 
You won’t believe what I was doing this morning….. packing! Yep Hubby bought some boxes the other day, as the fruit season is done and we can store some boxes in the shed. So to make it easy when it is actually time to sell. So instead of getting stuck into my project this morning, I cleared out 4 big boxes of craft stuff from under my desks, shelves, and what not…….man, oh man! When you start this type of job you end up creating all other sorts of jobs for yourself! But I am happy to say it is done, and I now have so much more space, it is a bit of a relief, not to mention that I now have room to put my feet under the desk again!
Had to laugh though, as when I pulled all the stuff out, and gave it to Rod to pack into the boxes, he sealed them, and marked them so we know what is in them….. he writes, ” Scrapbooking CRAP” !!! I suppose that is a mans reaction to most hobby stuff, us women collect
Anyway I have just sat down and my nice tidy and pristine desk, and got to scrap that picture of Amanda and I from Convention.
Talk about a simple page! But I am happy with how this has turned out, leaving the photo to really be the main focus with a little embellishment with the that big bow. I used Baja breeze cardstock for the base, and added a 3 inch wide strip of DSP from a new paper pack which is on its way (mini catty)with a thin black scalloped edge along the bottom. Then have added the Real red wide grosgrain ribbon topped off with a big black button. The tab at the top is two punched outs of the Curly label punch, and layered with a black brad in the centre.
Well there you have this weeks Scrap it Saturday!

How could you say simple?? Look at the colours, the DSP and WOW that bow just finishes it off GORGEOUS.
