Scrap it Saturday #15
Hi again,
I have finally gotten that photo of Monnie and me scrapped. Actually I did early last week, but never felt up to uploading it. I have kept is quite simple, but that really depicts Monnie…..she is a classic girl! Just the right amount of bling, classy, you know what I mean. So I wanted the page to emulate that as well.
Here is what I did with the photo:
I have gone with a Kraft cardstock base, which I have stamped the Upsy Daisy floral stamp set over the background with Versamark ink. I added a strip of DSP from the Urban Oasis DSP pack from Stampin’Up. I have layered up some Elegant eggplant grosgrain ribbon. I mounted the photo with Whisper white and Elegant eggplant cardstock, and added a half of a curly label punch for our names. Then lastly I stamped up the greeting from the Wonderful Favourites stamp set with Eggplant ink.

OMGoodness you’ve been a busy girl!!! Love BOTH the cards you posted earlier - and this scrap page is gorgeous too - I have to like it - has some of my favourite DP mixed with Kraft and a bold colour - perfect!

What a beautiful page! Love the mix of eggplant and black paired with kraft (which I love to use for card and page bases).
