Inkspirations Inspiration Challenge # 9 with a new Guest Designer!

 Hi again,

Well it is an exciting day today, because I get to share with you, who the Inkspirations Challenges Guest Designer for July is!!!! This month we have the wonderful and most talented stamper from Arizona USA, Nancy Riley!!! I have admired Nancy’s work for some time, and it is such an honour to have her be our Guest Designer!

Here is Nancy’s Bio and photo

I reside in Phoenix, Arizona (U.S.), have been married for 19 years, and am a mother to a teenage daughter and a teenage son.  I am employed full-time by a local school district and will be beginning a new position this coming fall.  I have been an avid stamper and papercrafter since 2002, and became a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in 2005.  I began designing my own creations in the summer of 2007, and enjoy sharing my them on my blog, *iSTAMP <http://stampinat6213.blogspot.com/>* and on splitcoaststampers.com in my member gallery, *stampinat6213 <http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=41782>*.
I have had the honor of being Featured Stamper #48 on SCS, Sketch For You To Try Guest Designer Oct. ‘08, and Stampin’ Up! Dec. ‘08 WOW! Art File Winner … and NOW, Makeesha’s Inkspirations Guest Designer for July ‘09!!!  Thank you, Makeesha!  I’m thrilled to be participating in your challenges this month as Guest Designer!

I have no doubt that Nancy will blow us away with her amazing creations each week!

Now who is ready for a new challenge? You i hope :)

This week we have an Inspiration Challenge for you all, so have fun with this. You have so much freedom, and option to interpret the image whichever way you please.

Here is the image:

My inspired creation for you:

For this card I have used Rose red cardstock for the base, and mounted a square of Pretty in pink cardstock, and some designer paper I pulled out of an old folder that matched perfectly! I added a strip of Rose red DSP which is from the Raspberry tart DSP pack from Stampin’Up. The image is from the Pun Fun stamp set along with the greeting. I have stamped both onto watercolour paper, and watercoloured them with my stamp pads, and Aquapainters. I embellished with Pretty in pink taffeta ribbon, and brads. I have distressed the edges with my cutter kit, and added some sponging for added effect. I hope you likes :)

Now be sure to check out the Design Teams creations, because they will be nothing short of amazing!

Want to play along? - here are some guidelines.

If you would like to play along, all you need to do is follow the directions:

1. Make your creation following the challenge ie, sketch, colour, or inspiration image.

2. Load your creation up onto your blog or a public viewing forum like Splitcoast Stampers, with a direct link back to the post on this website, so that others viewing the post will know where the challenge has come from, and it is courtesy to do so.

3. Then come back to this post so that you can add your name and link in the Mr. Linky!

You have until the Thursday the 9th July midnight to get your entries linked.

I will pick a winner and an honourable mention on Friday 10thJuly.

I hope you have fun with this one, and do try to give it a go! I can’t wait to see what you come up with.

    Hi Keesh

This was a great challenge, got me thinking outside the square again. I’m a little late getting it in, having computer issues last night, so I hope you will still accept it.

I hope your doing really well and enjoying the time with your kiddies this week. I love holidays, especially this week as I am having a break too. Back to work next week though :)

You take care and thanks for all the inspiration you have been sharing these last few weeks. I love the copic colouring you have been doing and hope to be able to see your stash sometime soon.

    Love Lee-Anne
