Howdy folks…..
now, i don’t want to go on and on and about those Copic markers…..BUT I can’t help myself!!
They are ROOOOOOLLLEEEYYYYYY, ROOOOOOOLLLLLLEEEEEEYYYYY delish to work with! And well I just had to play with them again!
I have recieved several emails asking about where I purchased my Copic markers from, and about the stamps I was colouring in….
So I thought I would share some details with you:
I bought the Copics at a website in the USA, called iCopics and here is their web address: www.icopics.com
I did a lot of research about buying them in a set, or buying them individually etc. In the end I could buy the 72 box set for a whole $100 cheaper from the States that I could at the Copics store in Australia…..go firgure? And they arrived in a week! the Aussie one is called Sudiocopics, but they don’t have all the colours, and they don’t have the big sets in stock, they have to be ordered in, so I wasn’t too impressed there.
There are several on-line stamp companies that are selling them too, but they are quite pricey, in comparison, to iCopics. So yeah that is where I would go again to purchase more….(sooner rather than later!)
Now the other thing is that with Copics you need a particular ink to stamp your images before you colour with the Copic markers. I have bought a Momento Tuxedo black stamp pad, which you can get at different on-line stores ( i bought mine at www.bizzybecs.com) and it was about $14.
As for the stamps that I have coloured so far, theyare all from stampingbella…….oh so LOVE their stamps!!! you can find a huge variety on their website www.stampingbella.com . They are great for fun loving cards, that you need to just make now and then.
So I hope that info has helped a little
and again don’t go down the Copic road, if you don’t have lots of Moolah because wow, they are addictive, but in a good way!
Right back to business…… I did create a card for the Stampingbella sketch challenge this week,…..and yes using my Copics, and my Stampingbella stamps! LOL!
Here is the sketch for this week:
