Deary me…..
Hey there peeps,
Well you are probably where I got to over the past few days……well I am really sad to say that I have been down and out, well and truly with the worst ever tooth ache!
Remember that tooth that chipped in half 2 weeks ago? Well they put in a temporary filling and I was good to go, at least till they could fix it properly.
Last week however i was feeling it being very sensitive, and was thinking i was getting an ear infection, which it wasn’t. However it was the nerve from that tooth shooting pain up my jaw to my ear. I ended up having the worst night on Friday with not being able to sleep from the pain. The strongest meds that i had here wasn ‘t touching it a bit. And of course I couldn’t get through on the phone to the dentist Saturday. SO in the end i just drove there and rocked up. They were fabulous and saw me straight away.
As it turns out the temporary filling had come away and was cracked, so everything I ate was going straight to the nerve……” I am not suprised you are in a lot of pain” the dentist said 
Which of course made me feel better. So they numbed me up and re-did the temporary filling, and gave me some Panadeine forte, and Nurofen which has been helping with the pain. But I have been feeling pretty tired, which is of course part of the medication, and partly from having little sleep.
So between now and tomorrow, when I go back to the dentist I have to decide if I am going to spend $2,500 on a Root canal, and Crown for that tooth, or $90 to have it pulled. I am not 100% sure what to do, but am leaning towards having it pulled, seeing as you will never see it, and I am saving myself a HUGE amount of money.
Anyway I am sure you didn’t come here to hear all my woes about teeth, but I did just want to explain why i haven’t been around.
I still have to finish viewing the entires…..I have about 10 to go and then I will share the winning entries with you. As well as the Scrap it Saturday, etc……
However, I do have a card to share which was last weeks Mojo Monday, that I stamped last week and hadn’t managed to upload yet.
Here was the sketch :
My mojo creation:
Finally inking up that Upsy Daisy stamp set from Stampin’Up!. For this card I have used Chocolate chip cardstock for the base, and layered DSP from the Urban garden, and the Urban Oasis DSP packs from Stampin’Up. I have inked up the floral stamp with my markers, Creamy caramel, Baja breeze, and Not quite navy. I have stamped the greeting from the Cute and curly label bundle stamp, and punched it out with the Curly label punch. Lastly I distressed all the cardstock edges and added some Kraft taffeta ribbon, tied off with Baja button from the button Bouquet set, and some vanilla half pearls.
On a very happy note, today I picked up my brother Bryn and his fiancee Kate from the airport at lunchtime. Talk about exciting to see them both back again safe and sound. Kate was so ecstatic about her ring, and my oh my it looks amazing on her as well……. We are about to head over to Mum and Dad’s for a celebratory dinner! I might even get a picture to share with you all!

Hey Keesh, you poor thing. Sounds like you were in some pain. Years ago, I had to make the same decision. At the time I didn’t have my extras health cover I have now and just couldn’t afford the alternative and as it was right down the back, I had the tooth removed. Although it feels a bit odd at first, you soon get used to it. Good luck with your decision.

I know how you feel, but I wouldn’t waste the money on Root Canal, not with the stories that I have heard!!! Plus there is no guarantee that after spending all that dough that you will not have any more problems with that tooth again!!
I love the card, gotta get that punch! and love Upsy Daisy!!

WOW Keesh - you poor thing.
Have it removed! $90 sounds cheap though - I recently had one pulled and it cost $200! But way better than 2,500!!!!! You could save that money for more SU stuff - sell that to hubby
I bet you are sooooo HAPPY for Bryn and Kate! How awesome! Do they have a date yet? Where abouts in the US will they live? EXCITING times!!!!

I’d be leaning towards the removal of said tooth so it cant bring any more pain - then you’ll have somewhere to store lollies or something lol!
Now as for your entires … I was wondering what on earth are entires and thought maybe it was something to do with your teeth and then it dawned on me - ohhhhhh entries!!
Hope you have a lovely dinner and enjoy the time with Bryn & Kate and cant wait to see pics taken with that new camera of yours! (can you tell I’ve caught up on my Google Reader??)

Hope your starting to feel better, if its a tooth you dont see i would get it pulled out cause a root canal is a lot of money and they dont always work!

You poor darling; I’ve experienced severe tooth pain, and know it’s like NOTHING on earth (even labour paled in comparison!). Would definitely go for the extraction; just think how many stamps you could buy with the money you save. I know you won’t find this even remotely humorous at this stage, but when you’re pain-free, you might. Thinking of you. Christine x
Poor you! I had my first ever tooth ache a couple of weeks ago, and it does not compare to anything! If it’s a tooth you can’t see I’d get it pulled too. Have heard there are no guarantees with root canal.
How exciting that Bryn and Kate are back in Perth together. Look forward to seeing your pics. x
Keesh!!!! My goodness. Why on earth are you apologising to us??? Absolutely NO NEED at all. I hope are all better and pain free soon… no pain like a tooth ache huh!!! My Bear (oops Mum!!) had a root canal some years back ended up going back to the dentist shortly after to have the tooth removed.

My dearest Keesh…..My heart goes out to you…you poor thing. If my opinion helps (or counts) I’d get it yanked darl. The pain will be dealt with, it won’t cost u anymore $$ and u can return to what u love doing. Until that decision is made….enjoy the medication magical mystical trip darl….LOL

Oh you poor girl!! I wondered where you were since I hadn’t heard from you! So glad to hear Bryn & Kate are back - I know you were anxious to see them both. Congrats to them, too, on their engagement! Take care of that tooth. I had a visit to the DDS myself this morning - and sprung for the crown. Don’t think I would’ve if it had been further back, though. It’s a tough decision, so good luck with making up your mind! Take care of yourself. We don’t like it when you’re not feeling well!! Tooth aches are certainly no fun at all and if I were you I would honestly just get it pulled and be done with it! Who knows if after spending $2500 on a root canal that it won’t still cause you any problems down the line! I feel for you with that pain!!
I’m so glad Bryn and Kate have arrived home all safe and sound! Can’t wait to see a nice pic of the happy couple and THAT RING - can we see THE ROCK! lol

So glad you had the bright spot of Bryn & Kate’s arrival after such an awful week. Toothaches are the worst. A big decision re what to do about it, its a lot of money to go through something like root canal.
Also, your card is divine, I love it. I look at a sketch & come up empty, you look & create a masterpiece, amazing.

Think of all the lovely stamps and accessories you could buy if you just pulled your tooth! olo! Sorry you have been out though, have missed your posts! Love your little creation, very pretty!
Sounds terrible, I know I’m going against the grain but I’d do anything to save your tooth. You might think you can’t see it but I had a tooth removed several years ago and all my teeth on that side are now crooked and gappy. I will need braces and a false tooth if I am ever going to fix it. Also there are always opportunities for more money and most importantly stamps! But it’s alot harder to grow yourself a new tooth. Oh, and I love your card.
Hey Keesh…. I have SOOOO been there! Worse than childbirth, by a long way. Exact same thing, and no dentist would see me for 5 days, by which time I was about to slit my wrists
Even went to the Dr to get stronger pain relief, which didn’t even help! Get it pulled. Honestly - I did the root canal thing & crown, and spent a long time at the dentist, but in hindsight, should have had it pulled out. Would have saved me (and my bank a/c) a lot of pain & discomfort.

Your card is just lovely as usual Makeesha! I have been debating whether to get the Curly Label bundle - that punch is so versatile and cute! I hope your tooth/headache feels better soon and that you can decide what to do with your poor tooth.
