Inkspirations Colour Challenge # 9….
Hey there……Inkspirations Challenge time!!!
This week we have a Colour challenge for you, which I think you will enjoy! - I love this colour combo, as it works both great for Masculine and Femenine cards alike. I have made two femenine cards this time. I do however often hear that masculine cards are hard to do…….so maybe an extra challenge to make your card a masculine one, and then wow think of all the ideas we will have at the end of the week! I will endeavour to make another one…..Masculine that is, this week for you all too!
So here are the colours:
My colour challenge creations:
For this card I have used the Friendly jumbo roller with Basic grey ink onto the grey cardstock along the base. then added a strip of the Baja breese DSP topped with a strip of the Ruby red cardstock and Baja breeze satin ribbon. I stamped up my bird and greeting with my Stampin’ write markers from Stampin’Up. The stamps used are the Friends 24~7 set. Lastly I added the two half pearls
Then the next card, which is really basic, and so easy to create!
Then for this card, I have used Baja breeze for the base which I stamped with the Polka dot background, then added a strip of the Basic grey cardstock along with some whisper white, which I have stamped up with the Pocket silhouettes stamp set. Just adding some Baja striped ribbon and a red button to finish it off. I don’t love this card, but it is a quick 5 minute whip up.
So there you have mine, now be sure to go and check out the Design Teams samples, as they are sure to be GORGEOUS!

Want to play along? - here are some guidelines.
If you would like to play along, all you need to do is follow the directions:
1. Make your creation following the challenge ie, sketch, colour, or inspiration image.
2. Load your creation up onto your blog or a public viewing forum like Splitcoast Stampers, with a direct link back to the post on this website, so that others viewing the post will know where the challenge has come from, and it is courtesy to do so.
3. Then come back to this post so that you can add your name and link in the Mr. Linky!
You have until the Thursday the 2nd July midnight to get your entries linked.
I will pick a winner and an honourable mention on Friday 3rd July.
I hope you have fun with this one, and do try to give it a go! I can’t wait to see what you come up with.
I haven’t finished going through all the entries for this past week yet, but as soon as I do, I will be sure to share with you the winning entry and the Honourable mention for this week! Stay tuned!

Love your cards Keesh, they are a great inspiration. I love the colour challenge. I’ll admit the grey has thrown me a bit for a 6, but I love a good challenge! Got my thinking cap on!

Gorgeous as always Keesh!!!
Ooohh and I’m in early this week. So sorry I missed last week… sick girlies in the Kale’ abode… Mummy included.

Wow, Keesh, both of these are soooooooooooo gorgeous!
I thought the first one was great, then I saw the second one! Awesome! I’ll try to play soon!
Well, I DO love your 5-minute card, Keesh - love how you’ve stamped the images from Pocket Silhouettes around the card. Wish I could make something this stunning in 5 minutes! Your Friends 24-7 card is just beautiful (really can’t go wrong with that set, hey?) - the ribbon is the perfect touch. Christine x
Hi Keesh I love your cards and have done two cards for this challenge..which is my first card challenge ever. Thanks for the inspiration!
Makeesha, this is one beautiful color combination! Your cards are FABULOUS! I can’t take my eyes off the Friends 24-7 card! It’s PERFECT!
Hi Keesh,
I think they both look gorgeous. On number one - well I really like how the ruby eyelet border picks up the birdy and how you carried that through to the sentiment. And number two - how did you do that in 5 mins!! Its simply lovely.
love Kim
Hi Keesh
I’m back - I had so much fun with last challenge I had to play again.
Your cards are beautiful, my fav is the pocket Silhouettes.

Hi Keesh, LOVE this colour combo and love both your cards. The second is particularly pretty as I like the way you stamped the Pocket Silhouettes in those colours.
Hi Makeesha,
Just love your site and work, having a ball with the challenges.
Take care,
Kylie.
OOhhh love this colour combo Keesh - think I will be having a go at this one! Need to do some challenges to see if I can find some mojo! Sending you hugs all the way to Perth
Hi Keesh,
Sorry to hear about your tooth ache Hope you feel better soon.

Both of your cards a fantastic!
Cindy
Oh Keesh, poor you! That all sound sooo awful, I can totally sympathise. I’ve been suffering right along with you. Developed an infection in my lower jaw after having my wisdom teeth out 3 weeks ago. Yow! the pain and swelling were worse than after the extraction. You take really good care of yourself and rest up big time.
PS you made my week with the honourable mention - thank you!
Love Sue
Hi Keesh
I love your cards made with this colour combo! My favourite is the one with Friends 24-7. I did my card tonight - last minute hey?!
hope you feel better soon and thanks for the challenge!
