Scrap it Saturday # 15
Hello everyone,
It is a miserable winters day here in Perth today! It has been so wet the past 3 days. It is good though as the country desperately needs the rain! I am not a big fan of winter, but it is just one of those things you need to go through…..just have to rug up and keep the heaters going!
Now i am here to share with you the Scrap it Saturday page I have made to share. It is of my daughter Tiarne…..who i might add is growing way too quickly! None of her clothes from last winter fit her, and she is already past my shoulder! I think she will take after her Dad and be really tall!
Anyway here is the page for you:
For this page I have used Riding hood red, Bashful blue, and Pumpkin pie for the Cardstock colours. The stamps sets I used are Itty bitty backgrounds (retired) and Petal Pizazz which are both from Stampin’Up. I added some paper piercing, rhinestone brads, and Riding hood red striped ribbon for embellishment. I have actually stamped the stem and leaves, and clear embossed them so that they have the rich but shiny colour.
Hope you like it and have a great afternoon!

Gorgeous page Keesh, I know what you mean about the growing up too fast…..Jemma (my eldest) is doing the same thing, SCARY

Keesh, that is one Lovely page and lovely daughter:)
All the kids pages look great Keesh. You’ll have to set yourself the same challenge this time next year so we can see how much they’ve grown in that time. Love the colours of this page and those 2 cute flowers.
Hey Keesh, I LOVE your layout! You are right about the weather .. you really turned it on for my arrival! And of course the rain started right as our removal truck turned up. LOL
I can’t wait until I get my scraproom unpacked so I can play along again

A beautiful page and a beautiful daughter Keesh. Can you believe we nearly have 10 year olds!!
My-o-my Keesh….how they grow like weeds…or in this case bloom like well stamped flowers!! hee hee hee. Again, I love how u have picked up the colour in her T-shirt and used it as the base of the page.
A gorgeous page for a gorgeous girl - what more is there to say? Jo
Oh, this is just lovely! Great use of that stamp set - love how you cut out the petals!
Interesting that Itty Bitty Backgrounds is retired in your area… It’s still going strong here and it has been in the catalogue for as long as I’ve known SU!, which is close to six years now!
TFS!

Beautiful page Keesh! I hate winter too - it is summer here, and I am enjoying it even though we have been in a heat wave with 2 weeks straight of 100+ degree weather. But I would rather heat than cold LOL!!!! Also - I want to thank you for helping me get back into the creative groove! I saw what you did with the bleach techniques and decided to dive in and give it a try. I love how it all turned out, along with your idea to use watercolors and aquapainters. So thanks again for inspiration
