Inkspirations Sketch Challenge # 9…
Well it is that time again for a brand new challenge! This week we have a sketch challenge for you all and well it is a little different, so I just know you will have fun with this one!
Here is your sketch for this week:
Now can you believe that I have made two cards for this challenge……And I got the sketch wrong! LOL! I printed it off to work on at my desk and it is only now that when I am uploading this sketch do I see that I have it slightly wrong. It seems that my print out as cut a bit off the bottom of the sketch…..Ah well you will still get the idea!
Here is the first one:
Spot the difference? I haven’t taken the tag base right down to the bottom of the card! but ah well you get that. So here I have used Rose red, Kiwi kiss, Regal rose, and Whisper white cardstock. Then I used the Inspired by nature and Flight of the Butterfly stamp sets from Stampin’Up. I added some Regal rose wide grosgrain ribbon tied of with a pink button from the Button Bouquet box. Then some Pretty in pink taffeta ribbon, paper piercing, and Pretty in pink brads to finish it off.
Next I made a masculine card, turning the sketch to the side:
For this card I have used the Seaworthy stamp set from Stampin’Up. This stamp set is only available in Australia and New Zealand. I have stamped it onto watercolour paper with Chocolate ink, and paper tolled l the sails, as well as added a bit of water to the stamp to blend the colour. The base cardstock is Baja breeze, and I have also used Really rust for the tag. Lastly I added some Chocolate chip wide grosgrain, twine, hodgepodge, and paper piercing for the embellishment.
So there you have mine, now be sure to go and check out the Design Teams samples, as they are sure to be GORGEOUS!

Want to play along? - here are some guidelines.
If you would like to play along, all you need to do is follow the directions:
1. Make your creation following the challenge ie, sketch, colour, or inspiration image.
2. Load your creation up onto your blog or a public viewing forum like Splitcoast Stampers, with a direct link back to the post on this website, so that others viewing the post will know where the challenge has come from, and it is courtesy to do so.
3. Then come back to this post so that you can add your name and link in the Mr. Linky!
You have until the Thursday the 25th June midnight to get your entries linked.
I will pick a winner and an honourable mention on Friday 26th June.
I hope you have fun with this one, and do try to give it a go! I can’t wait to see what you come up with.

Great sketch keesh. Love it. Thanks for the challenge:)
Wow. I really love these 2 cards you’ve created. I really like the male one as I always seem to make ‘girly’ ones over the male cards. Love them.
Kylie.
Oh, wow! I am so impressed with your two versions - they are gorgeous! Love how you did the folded ribbon with the pink button on it on the first one!
Gotta admit that if you got the sketch “wrong,” I got it wrong, too!
Thanks for sharing and thanks for the inspiration!
Have a fab weekend! I was supposed to head out to a BBQ this afternoon, but it’s raining, so I guess I’ll be going home to stamp instead…
Cindy

Hi Keesh, thank you SO much for the honourable mention last week, I’m really chuffed about that so thanks. Great challenge again this week, I love both your cards, but especially the butterfly one, guess I’m going to have to get that set now!
Both cards are gorgeous!
Thank you for the sketch! It was nice working with it! Have a nice week! Your cards are beautiful… Greetings.
Hi Keesh. I liked the sketch this week. I’m having a lot of issues with my blog these past two weeks. I feel lucky to have got a post up for this card. I’ve tried several times to put links into it but it keeps playing up. I’m still working on it.
This was a fun challenge. I didn’t quite get it right, but it was fun trying.
I love this sketch, and even printed off one to do - but I haven’t got there yet.
Loved your cards. Super yummy.
These are GORGEOUS!!!
