Inkspirations Inspiration Challenge #8….
Well it is all happening over here!
I have just received my laptop back from being away to get some TLC, and boy did it need it! Paul found 12 viruses on it, SO it is no wonder that it has been doing some weird and wonderful things! It took much longer than anticipated, and well no wonder. But all is good now! I have to say……it is amazing that I survived without it for two days though! I did catch myself on the first day, saying to myself, ‘ I will just go check the emails’….OH that is right the lappie isn’t here! I think I did that like a gazillion times yesterday, which was an eye opener. It is like when you go to check you watch for the time, but have it off because it needs a new battery! LOL!
SO now I have a couple of new programs, I will have to work out, and a whole new calendar system, which I am hoping I will use to keep myself all organized. Well that is the plan! Whilst I work hard, I do tend to work all over the place, so this is going to help me be ahead of myself rather than having to do things by the seat of my pants all the time……like now uploading the new challenge!
I am dying to see this weeks entries and I has planned to do that this morning, but with no computer it is a bit hard. So I am going to give you the new challenge now, and then go and check out the other creations to pick a winner etc…. so will be back with that post as soon as I can
Alright this week we have an Inspiration challenge! Now please don’t be scared off with this one! I promise you it isn’t as bad as you think. I actually made my card in only 10 minutes. An inspiration challenge is open to any interpretation,….it can just be the colours, the scene, or even the ambiance it emulates….it is totally up to you! So have fun with it okay!
Okay so here is the Inspiration image for you!
Gorgeous pillows hey!
My inspired creation:
The front of the card. I used Basic grey cardstock, and the Urban Oasis DSP. I have cut the stem out of one of the sheets of DSP and mounted it with dimensionals. Next I added the paper piercing, half pearls, Kiwi kiss satin ribbon, and the greeting in Basic grey ink, which is from the On your Birthday stamp set from Stampin’Up.
Then I added this on the inside of my card for a little extra detail.
Okay so be sure to go and check out the Design teams girls inspired creations for this week, I am sure they will all be stunning!

Want to play along? - here are some guidelines.
If you would like to play along, all you need to do is follow the directions:
1. Make your creation following the challenge ie, sketch, colour, or inspiration image.
2. Load your creation up onto your blog or a public viewing forum like Splitcoast Stampers, with a direct link back to the post on this website, so that others viewing the post will know where the challenge has come from, and it is courtesy to do so.
3. Then come back to this post so that you can add your name and link in the Mr. Linky!
You have until the Thursday the 18th June midnight to get your entries linked.
I will pick a winner and an honourable mention on Friday 19th June.
I hope you have fun with this one, and do try to give it a go! I can’t wait to see what you come up with.
Mr Linky doesn’t want to work right this minute, but I am working on him and will have it uploaded asap! - If it doesn’t appear, please just put your entry link in the comments! Thanks!

PS…. thanks for all your info in regards to the breaking teeth! I managed to get into the dentist yesterday, and they have put a temporary filling in, but I have to go back in 2 weeks so they can do a proper assessment on it. He said it will be a bit tricky because it has cracked off under the gum! Anyway we will just have to wait and see. I am glad that there is something plugging the hole though, as that was feeling a bit creepy! ![]()

OOOh your card is fabulous for the challenge - will have to put my thinking cap on!!
xXx

Gorgeous, Keesh! Love the colours, love the layout, love the ribbon!
Oh, my… You did a fantastic job with the inspiration piece! I am in awe! Totally inspired
I love your blog. It’s good to have you back in the virtual world!
(Isn’t it incredible how much we depend on those ‘puters? Mine died a couple of years ago and I felt like all of my resources were taken away from me. I’m looking for a phone number? Going online. Directions to a restaurant? Going online. My friends’ contact info? Online. Crazy.)
I hope your teeth situation can be handled easily, cheaply and pain-free-ly! Good luck with that!
Cindy
P.S. I received my brand new catalogue and pre-ordered stuff today! You should have seen me leave the office in a frenzy in the hope to catch my UPS guy during his round and get my precious box. He had already stopped by and had the good sense of leaving the box by the door, even though he usually never does that… It’s like he knew!
OH MY GOSH! Keesh - I told myself I didnt need that set - but now seeing it - WOW! Blast! Lovely card!
Im pleased you have your lappie back - more creations for us
Me LIKE!
Have a great weekend!
Love Lisa
