Inkspirations Colour Challenge # 8….

 Hi again!

Well I hope you are all well. It is friday again, and that means Inkspirations Challenge time! Boy this week has gone fast! I haven’t had much time to stamp at all.And wow it has been quiet on here…..especially compared to last week when there was lots of Blog candy being given away! :)

This week we have a new Colour Challenge for you all.  I ened up creating something completely different to what I thought I would. I was trying to steer clear of flowers for a change. Anyway it was fun :)

Here are the colours:

:

My colour inspired creation:

Now for this card, I have used Pink passion cardstock for the base which I stamped with the Sanded background stamp. I added a strip of spotty Certainly celery DSP paper with some wide Celery grosgrain ribbon. I have uesed the Inspired by nature stamp set to get the reeds on the whisper white cardstock. Next I have stamped up the froggies which are from the Hoppy for you stamp set with Celery ink and cut them out mounting them with dimensionals. The greeting I stamped with Basic black ink, and then added the fly stamp and a circlur punch out of Pumpkin pie cardstock. I have used Crystal effects on the Froggies, Build a brad, and paper piercing for embellishment.

Please be sure to check out the design team girls because I know they will all have some amazing creations for you too!

Want to play along? - here are some guidelines.

If you would like to play along, all you need to do is follow the directions:

1. Make your creation following the challenge ie, sketch, colour, or inspiration image.

2. Load your creation up onto your blog or a public viewing forum like Splitcoast Stampers, with a direct link back to the post on this website, so that others viewing the post will know where the challenge has come from, and it is courtesy to do so.

3. Then come back to this post so that you can add your name and link in the Mr. Linky!

You have until the Thursday the 11th June midnight to get your entries linked.

I will pick a winner and an honourable mention on Friday 12th June.

I hope you have fun with this one, and do try to give it a go! I can’t wait to see what you come up with.

Love Keesh

ETA: Mr Linky seems to be playing silly business again, but if you click onto him, it will still take you to the links so that you can add yours as well as view the other entries! - hopefully they fix him soon!

I love those froggies! They make me smile every time I look at them. Your card turned out so beautiful! Loved this week’s color combo, BTW!

You know, we’ve had the catalogue for five months now and would you believe that I just noticed last week that this sentiment reads, “Time’s fun when you’re having flies”?! I think it’s ‘cos it was in English that I skipped right over it.

    Enjoy your weekend!

Hi Keesh. The girls have DT girls have done another great job of creating card for your challenge. I had time to play along this week so I’ve added a link to my blog card.
Also Mr Linky looks different this week. I can’t see the names to click on so I can go to their blog. All it tells me is that two links have been made. :-(

    HI Keesh,

I was so pooped after getting cards for two challenges in last week I plain forgot to come look at yours! Which by the way turned out great - very fun with the two happy froggies and I love the big pink build a brad. I still haven’t worked up the courage to use mine yet!

I’ll look forward to seeing what you come with this week.

Hi Keesh, I love your frog card. I have just added my link to your challenge. This is my 3rd attempt at a challenge and not even a face like a football and a mouthful of stitches (from having my wisdom teeth extracted on Friday) was gonna stop me! I think I might be getting addicted!!

Hi Keesh, hmmmmm, I wasn’t too happy with that 1st card I did(I think I may have still been under the influence of anaesthetic). So I’ve had another go and am much happier with this one. Have a great day.
