Inkspirations Inspiration Challenge # 6
Okay who is ready for another Challenge? This time round it is an inspiration challenge! I had fun putting this one together, because it is a little different.
So here is your Inspiration Image for this week:
With winter coming this image is certainly appropriate! Isn’t it funny how by this time of year you are so sick to death of BBQ’s, and a bowl of soup is so appealing! Then by August you are sick to death of soup, and hankering for a big piece of steak and salad……… I suppose that is why we have seasons hey?
Here is my inspired card:
Are you laughing at my card? hehe, I have to be honest and say I did find this image a little more difficult that other inspiration images, but hey that is why it is called a challenge! So here I have ran with the whole pumpkin image……you know pumpkin soup comes from pumpkins DOH! I have created the pumpkins with my Pick a petal stamp set to get the lines, and then I punched them out with my large oval punch, layered them on together and made a little stalk with some Chocolate chip cardstock. I think they turned out cute! I couldn’t think of the perfect greeting for this one, so I ended up leaving it off. The paper on the background is Certainly celery prints DSP, which I have paper pierced the outer edges to create a frame……..See I had to make up from my lack of Paper piercing from that BOUF card from Tuesday (thanks to Karen!!!) LOL!
Want to play along?
If you would like to play along, all you need to do is follow the directions:
1. Make your creation following the challenge ie, sketch, colour, or inspiration image.
2. Load your creation up onto your blog or a public viewing forum like Splitcoast Stampers, with a direct link back to the post on this website, so that others viewing the post will know where the challenge has come from, and it is courtesy to do so.
3. Then come back to this post so that you can add your name and link in the Mr. Linky!
You have until the Thursday the 9th April midnight to get your entries linked.
I will pick a winner and an honourable mention on Friday 10th April.
I hope you have fun with this one, and do try to give it a go!
Have a fabulous weekend! I am going out for dinner with Rod, and our friends Ali & Rita tonight which we are all looking forward to, so that is a great start to the weekend!
Take care!

Hi Keesh,
can’t remember whether I dreamed it - or actually did tell you that I thought your Pumpkin idea was great. Been up since 5 am so by now everything is a bit blurry. I had fun with buttons this week and will as ever look forward to the next one - whenever that is? Have a good Easter and thanks.
