MIM # 31
Hi ya,
Thursday already…….unbelievable! i can’t believe how fast the weeks are going, and that it will be school holidays in just 5 more days……but then that has me thinking that it will be Easter next week, and that means Chocolate! Oh it will be hard to have just a little not to indulge, that is for sure!
Talking of chocolate, I have made these cute little Easter baskets. You could still use the template for something else, but I think they look super cute with the eggs in there.
So here is your tute for this week:
Easter Basket
Materials required:
- Paper trimmer
- Ribbon
- A4 cardstock
- DSP
- Large brads
- Stamps
- Stamp pads
- Bone scorer
- Adhesive
- Chocolate eggs
Step 1:
Cut a 1 inch strip of cardstock from the long side of your A4 sheet of cardstock
Step 2:
Layer a strip of DSP in the inside of that strip for decoration
Step 3:
Cut your A4 sheet to measure 12cm’s by 20cm’s. Then score in 4cm’s from each side of the cardstock.
Step 4:
Cut the cardstock in like shown in the picture
Step 5:
Using adhesive put your box together, which will be long and rectangular
Step 6:
Decorate your box with DSP and ribbon. I have also used my scallop and circle punches.
Step 7:
Add the handle to go from one end to the other, on the inside of the box.
Step 8:
Add the large brads at either end to hold the handle in.
Step 8:
Add some tissue paper and your 3 Easter eggs.
Finished Product
Super quick and easy and adorable in real life! I am sure you could whip up a few of these in the next week!
Enjoy!
