Inkspirations Colour Challenge # 6
Hey there!
It is that time of week again for the new challenge! This week it is time for a Colour challenge…….and I just know some of you will be like..”Keesh, do you have to pick a doozy color combo AGAIN!???”
Well I truly hope you will bare with me, and give it a go! I found this colour combo from a shirt my darling Janaya had last summer, and have been a little hooked on it since. So trust me on this one, you will like it, I promise! Oh and since it is the last few days of the current In colours I had to use my very favourite one of the 6 of them, Purely Pomegranite! I understand some of you may be out of stock, so you are welcome to substitute it for Rose red if you like.
Here they are:
ARRRGGG……is that what I hear?
So here are my samples, just to prove that it does work together!
For this card I have used the Embrace life, Tres chic, and Wonderful favourites stamp sets. I have watercoloured the flowers with my aquapainter and ink refills.
And of course I had to combine the colours with my fave stamp as well……>BOUF!
Last of all i thought I would share with you the scrap page that got me into this colour combo in the first place. You may have seen it before, but that was quite some time ago!
Here you can see that shirt that Jaye was wearing. I have used the Priceless stamp set, as well as the So swirly roller.
Want to play along?
If you would like to play along, all you need to do is follow the directions:
1. Make your creation following the challenge ie, sketch, colour, or inspiration image.
2. Load your creation up onto your blog or a public viewing forum like Splitcoast Stampers, with a direct link back to the post on this website, so that others viewing the post will know where the challenge has come from, and it is courtesy to do so.
3. Then come back to this post so that you can add your name and link in the Mr. Linky!
You have until the Thursday the 2nd April midnight to get your entries linked.
I will pick a winner and an honourable mention on Friday 3rd April.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Oooh LOVE your first card!!! Sorry I missed your last challenge - too busy stamping swaps for convention!!! Hope I get a chance to play this time - Gorgeous colour combo…

Hi Keesh,
Can you believe I’ve NEVER used Pumpkin Pie and don’t even own the stamp pad but after seeing your Embrace Life card using these colours I can see myself getting it! That card is just beautiful and the scrap page of Jaye is adorable. Really exceptional work by you yet again. Love Leanne.
Keesh,
I love your little samples. I love the colour combos I must start doing your challenges again. I always seem to run out of time with your challenges by the time I get around to it you are already annoucing the winner. anyway hopefully this week I can attempt to do one. I have been sick all week so hopefully I will be feeling so much better this week and become inspirational again. Love your make it monday as well. You really are indeed super woman. lol. thanks for sharing.
Liam
Hi Keesh, This is the scrap page that really makes me think that you take your colour wheel shopping with you, “no Jaye, you can’t have that top sweety, because it doesn’t match any of mummy’s stamp pads!”"LOL” This is my very favourite page as it reminds me of when I first met you and your wonderful family. Your pages are all gorgeous, but you cheat because all your children are so photogenic. Lots of inky hugs from Char xx
Hi Keesh, This combo WAS a challenge for me so that is why I went for it! I love how you used the colours. Thank you for the inspiration! Hugs.

Thanks for the opportunity to participate Makeesha.
Hey Keesh
I love your first card, you’ve done the watercolouring very well with the Embrace Life flowers! Did you use Whisper White CS or Watercolour paper? I’ve never been very good at watercolouring and need to improve my technique! x Julia
Love the Embrace Life card Keesh! Thanks for such a great challenge - it really got me out of my comfort zone!
Hi Keesh,

Your scrapbook page is SO cute! Have a good week!
Keesh…Wow just found your blog through Nancy Riley. What an amazing stamper you are. Love your colors and designs.
Sure to case from you! Thanks for the inspiration.
Hi Keesh - came across your website through astamperstouch.blogspot (love her website too). Felt in the mood to make another card, so I decided to join in your party! Hello from Wisconsin, USA!
Hey Keesh - I did it - I have completed your color challenge and have posted it. This was totally fun, so I know you will be seeing me often. It sounds like you have been a busy woman and hope you are able to get some much needed rest - I have learned the hard way that when you need to slow down do it, because it will all be there tomorrow
I love the cards you showed us - they are absolutely beautiful. I hope you have a good one and I’ll talk to you soon.
Janet
Hi Keesh … I finally managed to get a challenge done before it was finished. Thanks so much for all the inspiration you give us! Stampin’ Hugs, Andrea

Hi there Keesh! I do love those colours but really wanted to add some sage shadow but anyway. Have a great day.
Hi Keesh,
made it once more, despite Mr1 currently having a tanty at my feet. Great colour combo although it took some thinking to get it to work. Love your examples too.
thanks Kim
Hi Keesh.. Thanks for the challenge once again… I loved the colour combo… Your cards & layout are great too…
Thanks… Tracy
Hey Keesh,
Here’s my card for your latest challenge.
Hope your feeling better.
Hugs,

Great challenge once again! Thanks!
As I said in my card post, it seemed like fate that I should enter this colour challenge because I’ve been looking at pink and orange together and thinking of making a card in those colours because they work so well together but they so shouldn’t!! Then I spent the next 5 days trying to find my missing Purely Pomegranate ink (which eventually turned up right at the bottom of the wardrobe) and made my card last night while trying to fend off my two small boys… I was quite proud of my effort in the end (unlike the crappy photo - sorry)..
Jo
Fabulous colour combo! I finally made time to play with it and linked it. Thanks for the challenge!
