Inskpirations Inspiration Challenge # 5 with some Mojolicious!
Hi ya!
Well I have a new challenge for you, so have some fun with this! I have found a great inspiration image and I hope you like it too. It comes from www.adairs.com
Here is the inpiration image for you to work from:
And here is my inspired creation:
(I can’t resist not giving you a close up of the BOUF!)
So for my card here I have actually used this weeks Mojo Monday # sketch:
So I have again used the BOUF to replicate the big flowers in the quilt cover. I used River rock cardstock for the base that I have stamped with the Linen background stamp. I them found this DSP in my stash *which I can’t remember where I got it from (sorry
) which I have paper pierced borders around the outside. I added a knotted strip of wide Celery grosgrain ribbon too.
For the flower I first stamped it in Soft sky, then went over the outer petals with my Not quite navy marker, then kissed it with my Sanded background stamp that I inked up with Wild wasabi ink, and then I spritzed it wtih my water bottle. I was really happy with how it turned out.
I added the oval antique brass Hodgepodge piece, and stamped the word thank you from the Short and Sweet stamp set from Stampin’Up. Lastly I added 3 antique brass brads on the right hand side.
Want to play along?
If you would like to play along, all you need to do is follow the directions:
1. Make your creation following the challenge ie, sketch, colour, or inspiration image.
2. Load your creation up onto your blog or a public viewing forum like Splitcoast Stampers, with a direct link back to the post on this website, so that others viewing the post will know where the challenge has come from, and it is curtosy to do so.
3. Then come back to this post so that you can add your name and link in the Mr. Linky!
You have until the Thursday the 19th March midnight to get your entries linked.
I will pick a winner and an honourable mention on Friday 20th March
Have a fabulous weekend!

WOW!! I love what you did with BOUF - so effective!!! Thanks for giving us your ’secrets’ on how to recreate it - you are truly a superstar Keesh!!
Hi Keesh, thanks for another challenge. I love your card and the stamp set is one of my favourites. I wish my camera took better photos but here’s my card…

Check my blog.
Thanks.
Hi Keesh,
Am trying your challenge for the first time. I have attempted to load onto Splitcoast and, if my cards end up there LOL, will try and do the next steps. Your card is beautiful, as always. What will you do without the BOUF????
Fiona
It all worked, yeah. Only simple cards, but it was fun to do.

HI Keesh,
Been having a bit of trouble posting this comment.
Just loaded the URL to my latest card for your challenge.
Thanks again for all of the hard work you put into doing this for us.
You just couldn’t keep away from that BOUF could you! LOL
Cheers,
Kristy
Another great challenge, thanks keesh…. I am starting to really look forward to these, they are a bit addictive.
Thanks for posting these challenges. This is my first attempt and hopefully not my last. I really enjoyed participating and will be looking out for the next round.
Hope you are feeling better!

HI Keesh,
made it by the skin of my teeth - now I had better go and feed the hordes dinner. Thanks and will look forward to next week.

THanks for another lovely challenge Keesh - this was another ‘under pressure’ card for me. I love these colours
and love that Doona cover - wish I had it myself!
