Inkspirations Colour Challenge # 5
Hi there!
Okay so now is the time to take use of the opportunity to use up some of your current In-colours! I will be very sad when these retire in a couple of weeks as I have truly loved each and everyone of the In-colours this past year!
Here are the colours to work with:
Here is what I created:
Here I have used the big star from the On Board chipboard in Stampin’Up’s catalog which I have blinged up with heat and stick powder adn Dazzling diamonds glitter. The greeting is from the Fabulous flowers stamp set which I embossed with white embossing powder.
For this card I have used a sketch straight out of the new US catalog, which is just devine! I used the Ocean Commotion, and Happy everything stamp sets from Stampin’Up as well as the Sanded background (so glad this isn’t being retired!) I have done a little detail in the inside of the card which just peeks out from the scallop edge on the front of the card.
I have been working on a scrap page as well, and will show you that later.
Want to play along?
If you would like to play along, all you need to do is follow the directions:
1. Make your creation following the challenge ie, sketch, colour, or inspiration image.
2. Load your creation up onto your blog or a public viewing forum like Splitcoast Stampers, with a direct link back to the post on this website, so that others viewing the post will know where the challenge has come from, and it is curtosy to do so.
3. Then come back to this post so that you can add your name and link in the Mr. Linky!
You have until the Thursday the 12th March midnight to get your entries linked.
I will pick a winner and an honourable mention on Friday 13th March
Have a fabulous weekend!

well, as much as I’d like to play along with this one, I am totally, 100% out of both Blue Bayou AND Soft Sky papers and I never had those inks, can you believe it! I’ll give it a miss this time, thanks though!
Hey Keesh, actually go tto this challenge this week, yippee. Great to use up some of the retiring cardstock.
hugs xox
ok, I’ll admit it… I’m not much of a fan of pale blues with bright red, but I’m quite happy with what I came up with. Thanks Keesh!
This was a fun challenge - although I had to take some liberties on the cardstock front as I was out of Blue Bayou but I still wanted to play.
Gidday my name is Sandie from Australia. I stumbled across your blog today - can’t remember how now…………….LOL!!!
I decided to join in the fun of your Colour Challenge - it was a challenge for me as I wouldn’t normally put all of these colours together, however, I was pleased how it all turned out.
Thanks for the inspiration.
Luv Sandie
