one for you Karen!
Hi there!
Well Monday morning it is………wow they come around fast don’t they!
I have had Karen hanging out to see this creation for 2 days! I had to give her some torture, just like she gave me with the Double Dare!
So I have done it, and with no amount of vomiting as well…….honestly it has curbed my hatred for yellow, and allowed me to realize that it isn’t all that bad at all. I had fun making this creation! I don’t even hate it! And without wanting to sound proud, I am kinda proud of myself to pulling this one off.
Now just to see if Karen approves, and passes me on completing her double dare!
Here it is………..the Yellow Monsrocity!
Now of course I had to use the BOUF, since it is Karen’s favourite stamp of all times!!! I have layered the colours up using my markers, and dressing them up with some dazzling diamonds glitter. I stamped the flower 3 times, and layered it up with dimensionals.
I have used So saffron, and very vanilla for the base, and then added different width strips of cardstock across, with some very vanilla wide grosgrain ribbon as well. The greeting is from the Warm words stamp set, and I have added some vanilla half pearls as well
So I really really hope you like it Karen, and thanks for the Double Dare……that was fun! I let you know what your dare will be asap!

the card turned out great, you definately ACEd the challenge. When I think about it I rarely use yellow too. Got my card for your challenge on its way soon, just need to find the time to write it up.

I dont really like that stamp but I love this card! I love the colours and the layout…..It’s gorgeous!

yellows are tough enough with out combining then, what a terrific card!

Well I am so excited to say MY DARE IS DONE!! I’ve edited the pic and will post it on my blog later today sometime when I get home from town! I just hope like heck people don’t think I have gone insane when they see it! lol

Keesh - this is amazing. You did an awesome job using the color yellow on this dare given to you by Karen. You two are hilarious and I love to read both your blogs to see what you are up to. I hope you have a great day and I can’t wait to see what challenges you two come up with next.
Great card Keesh. See yellow isn’t all that bad and isn’t that what challenges are all about. Mind you I probably use So Saffron the most out of the yellows and not much of the others myself. I should try and change that too.

Like you I don’t like yellow and very seldomly use it and I hate that BOUF…may I say this has probably been the most beautiful and elegant way I have seen this flower used you have drawn on it’s beauty…Avery elegant, classy beautiful card thank you for showing me the beauty of both the colour yellow and the BOUF
Wow I too hate yellow and this flower is not a fav of mine at all! However you have done a fantastic job! But aren’t all your creations great??!!! Of course they are ….. silly question!
