A couple of pre-Chrismas challenges…..
Me again………
I had these couple of cards lying on my desk, and remembered that I didn’t get the chance to load them up before Christmas! They are all challenge cards that I worked with, and whilst the challenges are over by now, I thought I would still quickly share them with you.
So first is a Mojo Monday sketch by Julee Tillman. Julee had actually just moved her sketches to an individual blog, and I know I really hope to work with more of these this year as I just love them! Here was the sketch to work with:
And here is my creation
Using that gorgeous Embrace life stamp set and Ginger blossoms paper…….AGAIN! I think you will be seeing lots of this, as I am sooooo in love with it at the moment!. I have blinged it up with some glitter, half pearls, a rub-on and some double stitched guava ribbon, and paper piercing. The rest is pretty self explanatory.
Onto a Kristina Werner Colour Challenge:
You know I have had this Bronc Buster stamp set for 6 months and this is the first time it has seen a lick of ink! I have used Baja breeze, So saffron, Close to Cocoa, and Chocolate chip carstock mounted onto Vanilla cardstock. I made 3 small strips and placed antique brass brads at either end, then paper pierced a border on the Chocolate chip cardstock. The stamp in the center I have stamped with Basic brown ink and coloured with my blender pens and stamp pads.
And last of all a Sketch by Amy Rysavy:
One of my fave colour combos….Pomegranite, Pumpkin, and regal rose.! I have used the Linen background stamp on the back, then layered it up with some Pumpkin DS paper, and spotty pink paper from the new Bali Breeze paper pack. I added the faux stitching with my white gel pen, and some double stitched Pomegranite ribbon. In the centre I have stamped the blossom stem from the Easern Blooms stamp set with my markers, and added some glitter and paper piercing for bling. Lastly I added a white rub-on aling the bottom right hand corner.
Okay so that was those for you. I hope to get back here tommorrow to share with you my new “A Package of Inkspiration” for this month, and then Friday I will setting the New Challenge for the week! So be back soon!
Take care!

Hi again, Keesh.
I especially love the way you used the colours in the KW challenge. I am hopeless at male cards … but you make it look so easy! Keep the inspiration coming! Stampin’ Hugs, Andrea (EnchantINK)
Great cards - I don’t know how you keep coming up with such new ideas - but thanx for sharing!
Love these cards Keesh - you’ve done a great job with the challenges. I’m planning on taking up more of these this year -
even if I miss the deadlines, they’re still a great way to get the brain matter into gear!
I love your MOJO challenge card - that flower has to be one of the best stamps around and it looks wonderful on your card - both in the background and the main image. Love your double scalloped edge too!
