Stamp club cards~ Nov…
Hey again,
I just thought I would quickly show you the two cards that the lovely ladies from my stamp club made this month.
I thought that since we have the Individual markers on sale this month, that we would do techniques using the markers…..They are the best!
The cards are fairly simple, as there are 12 ladies that need to get them made and their technique cards as well, so don’t want to make them too time consuming for them.
One technique was Watercolouring with markers……this is such a fab technique, and so easy too. I pulled out the Loads of Love truck stamp set, which I don’t think has seen a lick of ink in about a year! I def. have to use that more, as it is a great stamp set!
So for this card I used Ballet blue cardstock for the base which was stamped with the Polka dot background stamp with Ballet ink. I have added a strip of Pumpkin pie DS paper from the prints pack, also adding a strip of the striped pumpkin ribbon as well. I have stamped the truck with Stazon ink, onto watercolour paper, and then like I mentioned coloured it with my markers and aquapainter. I mounted the watercolour paper onto some basic grey cardstock, and mounted it with dimensionals. Lastly I added the greeting, and the two silver brads in the bottom corner.
And for the other card I have used the Always stamp set from the Spring mini catalog. I used Pomegranite cardstock for the base which I stamped the little circular floral stamp with whisper white ink reandomly. I added a wide strip of Regal rose cardstock which I have paper pierced along the bottom two rows. Next i added the scallop edge along the top, and the wide grosgrain celery ribbon in the centre. The heart I have used the marker direct to the rubber, using different colours to get the multicoloured effect. I then stamped it onto Whisper white cardstock, cut it out and mounted it with dimensionals. The greeting is from the Always stamp set, and I stamped it with Purely pomegranite ink.
So that was short and sweet…….. Hopfully I get the chance to stamp again soon…… I have a crazy week! It is my baby’s 3rd birthday today!!! (I hope to show you some photos later today) and it is hubby’s birthday on Thursday as well. We have family for dinner, and then events on Friday night and Saturday as well…..so yeah you could say BUSY! But I am sure I can sneek something in there for you
Take care!
