At long last it was time to pull out the red and greens to make some Christmas cards. I always have a hard time getting into Christmas cards, but since many of you like to make your own, I thought I better join in.
Here are some of them so far……..
Here I have used Hansome hunter cardstock and mounted it with the Just in Thyme Christmas designer paper. I used the Festive Favourites stamp set where I stamped the trees and coloured them.
This is Baroque burgundy and Night of navy card stock. Burgundy ribbon and Silver Encore stamp pad embossed with Stampin’Up embossing powder.
This is Night of navy, and Old olive cardstock. Also the light blue paper is from the Just in Thyme assortment also. I used the Hung up on Christmas stamp set and coloured them up with the Stampin’write markers.
This little square card is Old olive cardstock with Just in Thyme designer paper. I used the Hung up on Christmas, and whimsical lower stamp sets.
Here I used Real red and Certainly celery cardstock. I used the snowmen from the festive favourites stamp set and the “Peace” stamp from the Wonderful words II stamp set.
On this card I used Real red and Certainly celery, and Whisper white cardstock. Stamping with the Hung up on Christmas stamp set, and using the Warm words stamp set for the greeting.
Once again Real red and Certainly celery cardstock, and the Just in Thyme paper. I stamped with Festive favourite and coloured with the markers.
This little pocket card is made with Mellow moss, Night of navy and Real red cardstock. I used the On the Spot jumbo background stamp, and the Crazy for Christmas stamp set.
This card is Real red and Mellow moss, and Always artichoke cardstock. I used the Celebrate from the All about U stamp set and the canvas background, along with the Christmas tree from Greeting galore stamp set.
Here I have used Cranberry crisp cardstock and mounted Just in Thyme paper to the side. Dressed it up with the stitched cranberry ribbon. Then I stamped the Reindeers from the Festive Favourites stamp set.
Last of all, here I used Cranberry crisp, Always artichoke, and Whisper white card stock. I used the tag stamp from Festive Favourites stamp set and the tag punch.
So there you have some of my Christmas cards…..Now to go and make about 80 of the same for family of friends and I will be all set….did I mention it had to be done in a week? Oh Boy why do I leave it to the last minute???
Happy Christmas card making girls!
