A Day in the Orchard.
Many of you know that we have a Sweet Persimmon Orchard on our 5 acres. Yes it is lots of work and we are currently picking and packing fruit off 650 trees! One of the nice thins about the orchard though is the beauty at this time of year. All the trees turn all shades of red, orange, yellow and burgundy. It is an amazing sight when all 650 are that colour!
So I thought I would take advantage of the beautiful colours and take some pictures of the kids in the orchard amongst the leaves.
Our eldest daughter Tiarne who is 7 1/2 and in grade 2 at school
Then our Son Elijah who is 6 years and loves to help pack in the shed. He is in grade 1 and always try his best.
Then son number 2, is Malakai. He is almost 4, loves to raid the Mandarin tree…..he could eat them all day! He is definitely a cheeky, but fun little boy.
Last of all we have Janaya who is 18 months. She loves to explore outside and is always on the go. She has amazing energy levels and is a complete monkey who loves to climb EVERYTHING! Stairs, the bunks, the dining table. Anything that is higher she wants to conquer!
I just love this photo of the two boys! They are great friends and I think it really shows in this cute picture.
When I look at these cute photos I can really see how much God has blessed my life with these 4 children. Yes I am busy and some days I struggle to give them all the attention that they need, but most of all I can see how they make my life rich and how God gives me the strength to love and care for them.
