Pretty stamped walls
In April, my hubby took as week off work to paint the house. We weren’t going to do the kids rooms, but we had done all the other walls so quickly that I begged, could we please create the girls bedroom. Since darling daughter wanted pink walls, I was a bit hesitant to have her whole room pink. Anyway in the end I decided that since Stampin’Up says that you can stamp on walls I thought I would give it a go. This way I could stamp on the walls and break up all that pink!
It actually was rather fun and I just love how it turned out. Most people can’t believe that I actaully stamped the walls with regular paint. What I did was get an old stampin’scrub and added the white paint ( just regular ceiling white) to the one side of the stampin scrub, then I added the Cool Carribean paint into the other side and spread it out. That created my stamp pad (ie paint pad) and I was off.
All in all is only took me 4 hours and the hardest part was moving the ladder so many times! I ended up with about 8 bruises on my legs from the ladder banging into my legs as I was trying to lift and move it! Anyway, after the paint had dried I went around to each butterfly and drew my 2-way glue pen over the butterfly and then sprinkled dazzling diamonds glitter with my paint brush. That way all the butterflies sparkle on the walls. Darling daughter loves her room now.
So don’t be shy to use the stamps on the walls it works out great! Here are some pictures to see what it looks like. You get the idea, even though the photos aren’t all that clear and you can’t see the sparkles.

Wow, awesome. Don’t think I could be that brave but you have don’t a great job. Just love all the colours. What a fun girls room.
Love your creations in the bedroom!
I have used glitter in the paint in Melanie’s room but dont know if i would trust myself with stamps! Looks great!
